Not named Tua that we will face rest of the year? That guy yesterday had an escape clause built in and then he made a play nearly every time after he escaped.

I am implying that our pass rush from last night would have tackled Bo Nix, Joe Burrow, Jack Abraham, Guarantano, whoever UK, Ark., KSU, or Ole Miss trots our there because they don’t have the quickness Lewis for uLL has.

Fair enough. We'll see better overall QBs though

Bo Nix for sure. Terry Wilson at UK is better. Joe Burrow is underrated as a runner, had almost 400 yards and 7 TD’s on the ground last year. Tua of course. I have no idea what K-State and USM have.

Anyway, we’ll face a lot of guys that are a lot better than that guy yesterday.

Top 30 nationally in passer rating and comp % in 2018 as a soph

He doesn’t make many mistakes to lose games but he’s also hasn’t been a difference making QB the last two years. USM’s offense has had some big struggles the last two years. They only scored two offensive TD’s against a SWAC team last night. Granted, their defense will be much better than UL’s was, but they don’t have as dynamic of an offense as we saw yesterday.

They may not be as all world as we made them look on offense at times. But...I was impressed with the QBs quickness, receivers catching the ball even with dbacks in good coverage, and RBs that ran hard. They did a lot of the fundamentals really well yesterday, especially for a first game.

Fundamentals and determination can make a team play way above what talent would predict.

So you are saying that there are several QBs that we will face that will escape our pass rush, avoid a tackle, then make a perfect pass to an open receiver close to or past the line to make for a first down, on 2nd and long or 3rd and long? Because I was there and that is what I saw Levi Lewis do multiple times.

Now his scramble at the end that used up 26 seconds with only 30 seconds left was stupid because he should have thrown it away and saved clock. But otherwise, he looked like Johnny Football getting away from pressure and Harry Houdini escaping tackles. Soooo..... which QB on our schedule has the ability to do that time and again outside of TUA?

That was a pretty good offense we faced yesterday. Our defense will improve.

I agree.

Louisiana will score plenty of points this year.

Hopefully, they will light it up against Freezus next week.

(They play Liberty at home.)

I'm not going to waste my time. Anyone who thinks that ULL's QB is one of the best QBs we will face all year is incapable of carrying on a rational discussion.

And if you read that from my post about his escapability meaning I think he is one of the “best” we will have, you apparently Have 0, zero, Zero, ZERO, reading comprehension.

We will face “better” QBs who will be laying on their *** when our blitzes or DE’s get to them because they will not be little scatter bugs, dipping and farting like that guy did.

Manziel proved he was nothing more than a scrambling QB who could improvise on plays and destroyed us twice. That is what Lewis did yesterday. He made our guys look like doofuses with his ability to get away from the rush. But Drebin, the great, read that as saying “better”. NO! Not better, but more evasive than most of the QBs we will face. Now, I am done because I don’t play well with primer level reading comprehenders like you.

I recommend totally ignoring Drebin, trojandawg and mstate7 until the end of the year. They are not changing their minds regarding their agenda.

Troll on, brotha. Your comments are here for everyone to see, so my reading comprehension skills don't matter.

Troll? Bwahahaha. And I am not your brotha.

And you are correct. “Your” reading comprehensions skills don’t matter. Since they are non-existent.

“Agenda”. Just calling it like we see it chief. Trying to make the ull qb and offense out to be some great offense is what’s killing me. We were in a competitive game with a middle of the road sun belt team. Was the qb above average? Maybe. Was he one of the best in the country? Nah probably not. We made him look a lot better than he was. Maybe they get it figure out. Maybe not.

I really didn't see a whole lot of pressures put on Lewis .. all game .. especially from our DEs!

I mean do you have split personalities?

At times you seem to be a level headed poster.

The last few days you’ve been an insufferable douche lacking some consistency and ability to comprehend things.

Drebin is the he bomb on the magazine, so don’t completely write him off.

Trojan isn’t worth paying attention to during the season. Otherwise not so bad.

Mstate7 is a different breed of fan. Although I disagree with him on just about everything, he isn’t illogical. It’s not an agenda. You just have to learn to read his posts.
