So Sling has decided to be retarded this morning. I’m getting an error message telling me to go to the online help desk, which then says it is having problems due to high traffic. Joy. Guess I’ll be signing up for Hulu if this isn’t cleared up by game time.

Switched from Sling to YTTV about a year ago. A little more $$ but it has been worth it.

I went to my cousin's to watch the game, no ESPNU, so I bought ESPN for $4.99/month and had the game on in a couple of minutes.

I tried to tell y’all streaming isn’t the way to go. Just pay for cable. Streaming isn’t worth the headache despite it saving you some money. Jmo

Yet when one streaming service goes down on a Saturday you can Singh up for another for a free trial and be back up and running in minutes. You can’t do that with cable

I have nearly zero headaches and watch everything I want to watch and save about $1000 a year. If I watched more than about 5 channels, I may feel differently... but I don’t so it is an easy decision for me.

If cable and satellite goes down. You just fire up the Roku/phone/ipad and use your tv provider login to start steaming. No need to sign up for any free trials.

YouTubeTV has changed the game. It beats Sling in a runaway. I have never had any issues with YouTube TV and get almost every sports channel, unlimited recording, local channels and can have like 5 or 6 concurrent streams.

I'm in a trial of Hulu right now and really like it. My only complaint is a bit of juddering on the live channels. Anyone know if this is due to speed?

I’ve never had that problem except with local news on WLBT which I blame on them. Hulu just got a DVR style guide with a my channels option. It’s glorious.

Terrible take. I have zero problems with Hulu Live. If I ever do, there are enough competitors to change over to. Unlike Cable or satellite I pay month to month and I’m not locked into a 2 year contract.

I've had a little bit of stuttering with YouTube TV but I think that's because I have it side loaded on a Fire Stick.
