No, not gonna bump the last thread because it was about a specific tweet that morphed into his podcast review.

Listening to the latest Episode. “Week One Preview” ...
i think it’s really good and entertaining. I like all 3 of the hosts. Yes, if you can’t stand profanity don’t listen. I didn’t think it was excessive. ....haha and as I type this, literally. Brandon is talking about the Six pack turning on him...hah , quoting y’all.

Jiminy Christmas guys, we finally have a guy with a national following who is first and foremost a Mississippi State fan and some of our own are such pansies they can’t get past the arrangements of consonants and vowels he uses.

Words are ultimately just collections of sounds we use to communicate. Just because your momma and daddy told you certain words are “bad” doesn’t mean that other people can’t use them. Get over yourselves.

I listen to it today on the way home from work. I thought it was absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed that 100% more than I ever enjoyed more cowbell.

I actually listened to some of this stuff instead of just a microcosm of 17's in response to the NCAA and their yearly horseshit.

Just for the record, I am happy for him if he is getting such a great reach in this world. I might not be a listener but I understand what it feels like when you have a solid listening base that expects a certain way of doing things. I misjudged a bit and humbly offer an apology for a knee jerk reaction to his profane response to the ******** we were handed.

And... too be honest, I really didn't hear as much cussing during an actual podcast as his rant about probation. So the rant is more understandable for me up until he pulls the little stunt about specific posts st the end and said 17 you a few times in return about how superior and rich he is now.

So I'm really sorry we didn't all just worship you for your awesomeness.

Yer so bad, and nationwide...

No ****, I hope it you are not just another guy whose shtick gets old after a couple of years and can't expand and you really get a chance to show something.

I'll support Brandon Walker in whatever media venture he is at now and the one he jumps to in 6 months because he is a Bulldog. He's not some StingRay fake fan. He's a real fan. That is enough to gain my support.

really? It’s called a schtick ..if you’re that uncomfortable about Brandon proclaiming his new found wealth, then you probably have other problems.
He’s good, and he represents the Bulldogs well. I get it’s not for everyone but as The Godfather said, having a national guy repping the bulldogs isn’t a bad thing.

Listening to a Barstool Sports podcast and complaining about the language is like going to China and then complaining that there’s too much Chinese food or going to the beach and complaining that there’s too much sand.

I've listened to 2 episodes and plan to keep listening. It is refreshing to hear people who actually know something about college football actually talking about college football. Brandon keeps the pace moving nicely and the patter between him and Kayce Smith works quite well.

Brandon moved off the farm. You should too. It's a national podcast with arguably more reach than everything in the rest of MS combined. Hell, he fired an intern for saying State would go 0-12. Power move.

I am now ingrained in everything Barstool because of Brandon Walker. Have always supported him, and will continue to do so.

Yea, I personally could do without all the profanity, but I find it ironic that when people come on here asking for recommendations on shows to watch, 90% of the shows recommended have the F word laced consistently through all the dialogue on those shows but nobody seems to care. Why do people not care there but care on a podcast? I personally wish Amazon, Netflix, HBO, Showtime, etc. could make a good entertaining show without having to feel like a cuss word must be mandatorily used in every sentence. Maybe I live a sheltered life but the people I interact with both in business and personally, NONE of them talk like that in normal conversations. Most of these shows it sounds like the dialogue is taken from a construction site or something.

Just wanted to say I enjoy the show. You do your homework and are prepared for the topics (unlike some other Bulldog podcasts hosts...). Congrats and keep at it. You do you.

I will say I do not like Mush, but I don't think that's in your control.

In my post, I said he did not cuss every other word as he did in the rant so it's not that bad. I just was trying to caution against attacking your fanbase very specifically just because they all don't appreciate what you do. Call them out for sure if you want, but maybe he should have used a collective term rather than specifics because you have no idea who is on the other end of that sports board handle.

So y'all win. I was trying to use something similar to the schtick you are all championing to try to send a message of caution but I guess there is no room for constructive criticism.

I truly hope the Brandon does well.
