And GOD is punishing me for some reason because my mother-in-law is having to 17ing move back in, after it was hell getting her out the first time a year and a half ago.

17 me, I hate that lazy, selfish, parasitic, overall just terrible human being. 17.

Sounds like that is your fault.

Well we would be watching Clemson v Ga Tech tonight if UVerse carries the ACC
This may make my decision to cut the cord a little easier seeing that they still haven’t gotten the CBS deal worked out after 3 months either

i thought you got a divorce...why is your mother-in-law moving in?

Because her brother is kicking her out.

She’s been out of work for almost a year because she was trying to get on disability, which of course she didn’t qualify for. And now her job won’t let her back and wants her to try for disability again.

She’s a lazy 17ing idiot.

I’m pretty sure Direct TV is carrying the ACCN, so I dunno why uverse isn’t, considering they own Direct.

that God would punish you? Like that?

(I feel your pain)

I wish I knew brother. I’d be repenting like a mother 17er. Honestly, my life has never been better than it is right now. That’s probably it. Things are going to well, I gotta get **** on and brought back to reality.

I'm mildly irritated that Sling doesn't have the ACC network or the CBS Sports network.

Probably rare that it will bother me.

In Memphis, ATT is still in a pissing match with the local ABC affiliate, so we don’t get ABC, just in time for football season. I was hoping to flip over and watch some of Ole Miss vs. Memphis during commercials when we play Saturday, but no such luck.

Nashville just got ABC back today I think, after months of being without. You might wanna check to be sure.

You have to buy the $13.95 sports pack with Directv to get the ACC network if you don't live in the ACC market.

What is considered ACC market?
Basically, it’s any state that’s home to an ACC college, or is near one: North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

If you're in Memphis or nearby, just get a cheap antenna and pick the ABC station up over the air. It's free once you buy the antenna, and the antennas are cheap. In Memphis, you'll probably pick up 30 or so stations, including the sub-channels.

I was there a couple of weeks ago, and I wanted to watch a bit of the golf tournament and couldn't because DirecTV (that's who the hotel used) didn't have the local station on. It was either NBC or CBS, not ABC, so maybe two or more of the Nashville stations were off due to negotiations.

Dish is also having a bit spat with Fox Sports so all those channels are off air at the moment.

You guys in towns of any size need to at least buy a backup antenna if you aren't going to "cut the cord". I live in Starkvegas for heavens sake and get 15 channels for free which includes ALL the major networks and their sub channels where I get my Andy Griffith, MASH, and old movie fix. It's a simple process, a $30 antenna on my old dish "J Pole" using the old cable left behind by the dish company for me. 17 the damn cable companies and their negotiations!
