Preach, do you mean absurd that the OM Compliance office published anything at all, or do you think the penalties are absurd?

I suppose I understand why they published it ... we likely would have too ... the the penalties could have been worse (such as expulsion of the athletes). What they did was pretty serious.

A couple of things, that there is actually an Ole Miss compliance office. Secondly, sure I don't like it, but this seems to be very quick on our end "to comply" to try and set right what some foolishly did and not stall and deny the way certain others seem to have a habit of doing. Sure, let them have their day in the sun and let Ole Miss fans tweet about it, but that so called compliance office should learn a thing or two from the way State handled things.

I said your last statement about 3.5 years ago, when we were making fun of the oxfordians were crying in their beer about their sanctions. The fact is they committed 15 Level I violations and got a pittance of what they should have got. But in this league, the haveless (UMiss, Missouri, MSU, UK, UArk, and USCe) are going to get punished heavier than the havemores.

But wait...we have a couple guys here constantly trying to shame us for celebrating Ole Miss losses, telling us ad nauseum about how they don't care about us, so we're "little brother for caring about them", etc.** Hope those guys are paying attention to this, as we're not even talking about just fans, but the actual official Athletic Department at Ole Miss.
