OT: Wrigley Field tips?

Going to Chicago this week, and my my trip will include a 1:20 p.m. game at Wrigley (already got tickets). I plan to get to Wrigleyville around 11:30 a.m., then bail from the game/area around 5/5:30 p.m. to make my flight at Midway.

Will take the train in and out. My big thing is I'll be carrying my backpack as my luggage. Are there any lockers around the area?

Any other advice/tips? Never been before so not sure what to expect.

Thanks in advance.

Are you going straight from the airport to Wrigley? I’ve never seen lockers around there. Most hotels will at least hold you luggage until your room is ready.

There are lines that run out there. You’ll want to end up on the Red line.

You're going to have to take the Red line (or I guess you could take Brown but Red is right beside Wrigley) back to the Loop to transfer to the Orange to go to Midway. So, if your hotel is in the Loop, just build in enough time to go back after the game to get your bag.

Enjoy - Wrigley is the best place on earth to watch a ballgame in the daytime.

Two best travel hacks I know.

1. If you need to store luggage between hotel and airport, UPS store is usually about $5. They all do it and they are everywhere.

2. If you need to drop a deuce, the bathroom of a hotel lobby is always clean and private. All guests use their room. Most staff is female. Nobody asks if you are a guest. You can take a 30 minute relentless strainer without locking the door as long as there is not a conference going on. Just walk in and take care of business and grab a few free cookies on the way out.

So you would rather have your fellow sixpackers building a bird's nest at the local gas station after Jose and the boys just came in and did the Mexican Foxtrot... Shame on you Dorn.
