I watched the original in my hotel room last night. I can't believe I ever yanked it to Kelly McGillis. She goes from a 7 to a 3 in the same scene... And boy did the years kickbher in the ovaries.

take a lap. have no fear, I'm sure the nearest art house will be showing a 1930s era story about what it's like to be a coffee cup in war torn Germany for your sensibilities.

I laughed. This is a quality response.

Next you're going to tell us you don't like Die Hard or Point Break.

I feel the need... The need for you to GTFO here with that noise.

Point Break? you don't even like Point Break? since your avatar is of a soccer club, i'll assume your a millennial and i'll also assume that you are referring to the new Point Break. Come on bro, The Bodhisattva! The 50 year storm! there is nothing to not like about that movie. it even has Gary Busey and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

for real though, its one of my all time favorites. but each his own.

I'm 45. I'm definitely talking about the Swayze-Reeves movie. I saw it in the theatre when I was in high school and came out of it thinking I had wasted my money.

And I didn't even know it had been remade.

But, agreed, to each their own.

Goonies is great! HEY YOU GUYYYS!

i was just messing with FQ earlier. but i've never known anyone around our age that didn't like Point Break.

Iron Eagle II is the better of the Iron Eagles, although i haven't watched since about 1998. i remember that Commie gal being pretty smoking hot.

Ok, I have to ask: Road House? Young Guns? Yes or no.

This may determine whether I ever open one of your posts again.**

But seriously, I don't think I've ever heard someone (roughly) my age who didn't like Point Break when it came out. Someone watching it now for the first time, I understand the cheese factor, but in the moment? It was killer. One might even say it was "100% pure adrenaline"

Y'all help me out- I swear I just saw a movie or episode of a show where one of the leads kept watching Iron Eagle and cried when Chappy died. I can't for the life of me figure out what that was. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I mean I just saw it referenced somehow.

Young Guns - yes
Road House - no opinion... haven't seen it since I was a kid and I don't remember much about it.
