Yancy's stance, we can get back in this one anytime we want to. It's been

highly entertaining watching the gnashing of teeth on the Spirit over the state of recruiting. They are now a salt grinder development program and frankly that shirt doesn't
fit very well.

There was a delayed bell because Dean and his dad pranked JoeMo. They called

him and said they committed to USCe and then announced for State on Twitter a little later.

Yep, dad probably should have nipped that idea as it sounds like Joe almost

swallowed his whistle.

That's some kind of 17'd up. All the more reason why I couldn't have my salary dependent on 16-22 year olds and their parents.

Racking up the commitments lately. Should we be concerned about the lack of high star kids or should we be pumped about all of the Mississippi kids coming on board?

Because we all know stars = success**

Half of these guys haven’t been properly ranked. Dean along with other commits will be bumped to 4 stars once their senior season film gets out there. This time last year Charles cross was a 3 Star.

Without question this year’s group of instate recruits aren’t on the same level as last year’s. But I also believe a bunch of the current commits/ targets are under valued. Just by looking at the offer sheets & film, idk why most of the MS kids are only mid 3 stars

He says "Coach Shoop is my guy". Well Coach Shoop likely won't be there come December so prepare yourselves accordingly.

There’s two of them. The one who committed to Oregon is considered the lesser of the two by recruiting services

If that’s accurate about Cross, that’s really interesting. I was also about to post something last week about the apparent lack of top end talent in this class, but when you look through the list of offers for most of these guys, there are a lot of legit P5 schools that Joe is beating out. I had a suspicion that the current ratings might not be anywhere near final, and from what you’re saying, that seems to be the case

Brian Baker and Charles Huff say hello. Geoff Collins sends a postcard. Manny Diaz waves on facebook.

Well if Bama comes calling again we are probably going to lose out but Collins and Diaz don't really count given most DCs would apparently go coach at a Community College than have to spend a 2nd year under Mullen (Grantham seems to be the lone exception).
