We've conceded now.

Bringing Plumme in=uncle.

You 17ers say that every time we change pitchers.

Well, unless you wanna see our ace throw 120 pitches in a meaningless game, we had to bring somebody in. We’d have a lot more options if we didn’t play a 7 hour game yesterday.

We win,

he pitches Sunday,

assuming Ginn wins Saturday.

We're saving Rivera and Papelbon for tomorrow....

Just who were you expecting?

I've never said that 17er. If we wanted to win the tournament we'd hold Plumee til Sunday. ******.

Plumlee got hammered in that inning. It’s amazing that he got out of it with just one base runner

[Shamoan]

Ginn next game and plum still only threw 16 pitches. He can still go

Huh? Good one.

What's this "we" crap? You got a mouse in your pocket?

Plumlee just hasn't looked the same since the 121 pitch outing against the Bears.

[Bulldogg31]

Plumlee is pretty unique in that his pitching motion, along with the way his arm is “made”, allow him to pitch more often with less rest. He’s said before he doesn’t need nearly the recovery time as most other pitchers on staff.

Guys like Clayton Kershaw, Curt Shilling, and a few others are good examples that not all pitchers need four days rest to pitch well.

Who gives a **** about winning this. I care way more about having the pitching staff in good shape for next weekend.
