Jim said that he’s coaching 1st base tonight. Didn’t realize he was on staff.

Been there every game this season.

Any chance he comes back next year? Really miss his defense.

Depends on his appeal.

[L4Dawg]

Yep. He has a future in college coaching. He is posed to take the next step.

Uh, how many games have you watched this year?

Uh, how many games have you watched this year?

This is a theme among our most vocal, critical fans.

Depends on his appeal.

So does he still have eligibility and is wanting to play? I just assumed he was done playing.

[kphall11]

He doesn’t have any eligibility left. He lost a year with the suspension. He’s done.

[Chris Mannix]

I was under the impression that he, or least a player is the first base coach for every game. Isn’t it like an honor or something? I have watched all but some of the mid-week games and that was my impression. I am sure I am wrong or ignorant on this one.

[kphall11]

He’s a student coach this year while finishing up his degree. Last year we had to have a student on first base because we didn’t have a coach to put there. In the past some players would do it in the midweek because the first base coach would be on the road recruiting.

Who is this new Lemonis guy they are talking about on my tv? What happened to Cannizzaro?
