2 on, 1 out with Jake coming up. A few weeks ago, I’d have said we’d score at least two in that inning.

That was a huge wasted opportunity in a game like this, and we may not get another chance

Dude has an ugly breaking pitch to lefties, but blue has helped him in everyone of those situations.

[MSUDawg25]

It seems a little repetitive
-First pitch swing and miss
-Second pitch called strike
-Third pitch or maaayyybe fourth pitch swing at a ball way out of the zone.

I was just wondering... how many balls have we even hit into the outfield tonight? 3?

I feel like all I’ve seen all night are grounders, strike outs, and walks. Vandy has at least hit some fly balls off of Small

That's got to be 10 0-2 counts. Maybe more.

Its more like this for our lefties....

Pitch 1 - Breaking ball inside off the plate = strike 1
Pitch 2 - Breaking ball inside off the plate = strike 2
Pitch 3 - Throwaway pitch = 1 ball 2 strike count
Pitch 4 - Breaking ball inside off the plate = strike 3
