Not arguing with that general comment, but that was yet another play that A&M couldn’t have done again if given 100 more chances. Their right fielder had to to put that ball in a tire hole from 200 feet, and he sure enough hit the damn bullseye

I am more concerned with our 2 and 3 hole hitters have fallen back into another slump. Add McNamee’s struggles and that is a huge hole in the top of the line up. Westburg seems to be chasing anything and everything and Allen gets in a hole taking early strikes.

Plumblee needs to be un-hittable tonight. We are getting hits but LOB is at 4 after 2 AB.

It’s hard to know what to think right now. Hitting has been Jekyll/Hyde at best and anemic at worst during the last few weeks. However, we have faced some of the best pitching in college baseball during the last 3 weeks. In all fairness, Allen has seen some wicked LHP today. Westburg, though, is swinging right through fastballs.

Yeah, the only one I’m really concerned about at the moment is McNamee. He’s just flailing at stuff right now and clearly not seeing pitches well. Not sure what he needs, but he’s looked lost for a few weeks now
