Jerry Falwell is a man of great faith and I wonder whether God saw the Liberty Flames as the more righteous team in our matchup.
The only program that I ever see God punishing is Ole Miss football. I'm being serious about that. The Bible doesn't take too kindly to God's name being used as a means of wordly advancement.

Were you here for the sCam kNewton ordeal?
But as far as I know, Auburn's coach didn't have a very public display of Christianity. I only said the Ole Miss football program, and I wouldn't say that now. I remember posting when Hugh started talking so much about his Christianity, that he really needed to keep his program squeaky clean. Btw, I would now say the same thing about Dabo in Clemson or Barnes at Tennessee. When you publicaly take the name of Christ on your lips, weather it is a sports program or a business, or a church, you need to make sure you are strive to do things in an ethical manner, not that you won't sin, but by and large, it should be ethically upright, and that includes me and my church. The outside world watches, and even more so, God is watching.
