Grant Williams... holy ****.

41 of Tennessee's 84 points.

21 for 21 from the FT line.

but our 16 point win @ Vandy means zero because they suck - GOT IT

I mean what part of their 0-6 conference record tells you that they are a good team? They have played well tonight in a rivalry game but they looked atrocious in pretty much all of their other conference games.

it looks like they are on track for a number one seed. Would anything less than a NC qualify as Tennessee tennesseeing?

The national champion usually is in the top 20 of both of Ken Pom’s offensive and defensive efficiency ratings. There are five that check both of those boxes and UT is not one of them. FWIW.

Always an excuse for other teams

They are 0-6 in the SEC. What more proof do you need they aren’t good and the worst team in the conference? They average 33% from 3 on the year. Tonight they shot 48%. They played way above their head due to rivalry and home court. Additionally opponents have averaged 38% shooting from the field against Tennessee. Tonight Vandy shot 50%. Defense was lacking tonight by Tennessee.

Finished with 43 and 23 of 23 from the line.

An all time great performance in the SEC.

Like Bill Walton back in the ‘73 Title game (I think) when he shot, like 23 of 24 from the floor. I think he missed one field goal and 2 free throws. Wow

He's a BA. He also gets Jordan treatment from the officials. That flop he got the tech on saved the game for tenn, and it was quite ridiculous.

If Tennessee is really the #1 team in the country then this is not a good year for college basketball. Only Bama's inability to hit a free throw and a questionable traveling call in the second half allowed TN to sneak by Bama in Knoxville, and now THIS performance?

They aren't the best team. A healthy duke team would smoke em. Virginia is better. I'd pick Michigan over them too. I think Kentucky could be their equal by the end of the sec schedule. Tenn is good though... not playing well at the moment

They are kinda small. If a team has any size in the post and they are competent they’ll give them hell.
