I don’t get what you mean?? I take that as him not agreeing to the hypothetical that running the football as much as he has effecting his passing. If anything he is taking away that excuse from his play

How can you take that significant a possibility off the table?? His play has been abhorrent. Eliminate excuses my foot, time to evaluate and consider everything.

“I think we have two guys that have shown me in practice situations and at times in game situations that they are capable of performing at the level of expectations that we have for the quarterback position,” Breiner said.

What? You want the QB to embrace that as an excuse in a press conference? Even if he completely agrees with what Breiner theorized, he should not accept it as an excuse to the press. He said exactly what he should have said. Your making no sense

I dunno...I remember announcers and maybe even coaches saying sometimes it's good for Nick to get hit early to settle him down.

I'm simply saying that everything has to be considered, he's been that bad. That came from his position coach for crying out loud.

Key phrases there: "in practice situations" and "at times". In other words, a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then, especially if he isn't running for his life.

So you are more concerned with keeping up appearances than you are with him being on the same page with his position coach; the week after we watched him lead CFB in turnovers lost?

No I’m more concerned with your team captain not accepting an excuse, even one that is hypothetical, in the press. They can discuss that stuff in house all they want but not with the press. And how do you know Fitz actually believes that running so much resulting in bad throwing is just an excuse and he doesn’t really believe it any way. There 999 other things you can bring up questioning Nick, this ain’t one of them.
