Mine: sweat, adams, simmons, rivers

Rivers wrecks **** most times he touches the field. Tell me I'm crazy.

That front 4 is top 3 in the nation. Why settle for top 15?

They are all going to rotate in and out so much that it doesn’t matter who starts. We’ve already seen that through three games.

So Sweat, Thomas, Simmons, and Green is only #15? LOL. OK

Yeah. We probably have 2 full defensive lines in the top 15. Other than Sweat & Simmons, doesn’t really matter much who’s #1 & who’s #2. They all play.

I think that in rotating guys in and out, you would always want to have at least one of Rivers, Simmons, and Sweat out there. Preferably have 2 out there at all times. Rotate them through the first 3 quarters. If we're in a close game and need a big stop, that's when you let all 3 stay in together.

We forget that Rivers is still getting back to "game speed and endurance." All 3 guys are studs, and the other guys we have ain't too shabby. The schedule is going to get brutal and we're going to want to keep our D as fresh as we can. Pass rush is going to be crucial with our growing concern over DB depth.

Yeah.... "Take half the starting line out (Which both were 1st team all-sec) and the dlines not as good". what a hot take.

I don't know why our fans constantly try to find negatives. Thomas and Green are both very good college players. As is Chauncey Rivers

If I had to guess why Green starts over Rivers, it's that he's probably better against the run. Might be a little weak on anything but 3rd and long with speed rushers on both ends.

Rivers is on the same level as Sweat and Simmons---he is a beast. he might wind up the sack leader.

im not finding the negative, just raising the question if we are starting our 4 most disruptive players. i trust the coaches, but i also see what chauncey is doing and it seems to me he is a one man wrecking crew.

And maybe sprinkle in a few reps for Chris Jones and Big Pern. MSU is big time representin in the NFL

If only we could get them to claim MSU on tv instead of Yazoo City**
