Anyone who eats sausage at McDonalds and likes it has lost all credibility. That is a chewy, disgusting meat wad with no flavor. Then again, that applies to everything at McDonald's
I go with McDonald’s for value not quality. Hardee’s is definitely better and CFA is a good sandwich but bad biscuit.

Order the $1 version and order the egg on the side. It'll run you under $1 for the egg.

This is kind of info we only get when we work together!
Also another way to get over on the man... if you like the country ham biscuit from Hardee’s but feel it’s a little over priced, you can order a plain biscuit and an order of County Ham. You save close to $3. Had a friend show me that one and rarely do it because I like the sausage gravy biscuit but I occasionally do because not only is it cheaper but you get twice as much ham for $.60 than you do if you order as a biscuit....

The biscuits at the CFA on Millerville in Baton Rouge are great. Think they are little different between each store. Go to the one in Mandeville/Covington now and certainly not as good.

Opened Hardee's in BR all closed in less than a year or so. Sucked when I couldn't get their breakfast anymore.

Where do you live? I am always on the lookout for a cash cow

and owning a CFA where there's not one fits the bill nicely.

Build one on Hwy 20/Madison Blvd in Madison, AL and you'll have more business than you can imagine. I don't know why there's not one already there. Close to Redstone Arsenal, Research Park, the Airport, and a lot of other things where a total of near 100,000 work, and at least half go off base for lunch.

They have an unusual way of picking locations though. I think possibly all the locations are company owned? Something different at any rate.

The perfectly circular egg (that was probably made in a factory in China) is well worth $2. What are you doing with your life?

Mickey D's breakfast dunks on CFA breakfast Jordon balls in your ball style.

They cook them on the grill, inside a metal circular ring. I have no idea if they use real, fresh eggs that they crack for each order. I doubt they do.

Hardee's "Thickburgers" are really good for a fast food place. Stafford's sounds more like a local place with probably a bit more care in food preparation. I remember about a hundred years ago there was a really good burger joint in a little kiosk on the square in Jasper, Alabama. Best burger I've ever had. But things tasted better when I was a kid. And they probably were better. JJ Newberry in Meridian had a really good burger at their grill. I think it cost something like 69 cents.

All the Mc'Donald's here have any size coffee for $1. And yes, it's the best of any fast food place. Hardee's coffee is terrible, even though it has the same type claim (Arabica) as McDonald's. They must buy the cheapest stuff they can find.

No Hardee's in Baton Rouge? That's surprising. They're pretty popular around here in spite of being the slowest drive-thru that I've ever seen.

I upvoted him. He's right, as are you I guess. The only decent thing at McDonald's are the fries and their coffee.

My best breakfast options are Kroger and McDonalds. Wendy's and Burger King are on the wrong side of the road when it comes to morning traffic flow. Kroger's not fast food but it's often cheaper and better than McDonalds.

You can't own a CFA, corporate owns the restaurant. You're the operator. And there's a lot of competition to get one. You have to work at the restaurant, and you're capped at having no more than 2.

No Hardee's in Jackson MS area either. I think the closest one is in Magee.

The breakfast taquito at Whataburger..... Tremendous

Whataburger actually has a couple good things for breakfast. I also like the fried egg on the sausage egg and cheese biscuit. They are in line with CFA in cost but not as low as $1. Coffee is not bad, McDonalds is better.

Hardee's is #1. Don't waste your $$ on any other fast food breakfast.

I swear the one here in Tupelo survives solely on it's breakfast business. You can drive up any other time of day and there's a good chance you'll be the only customer there. But try to get breakfast and you'll be lined up out on the road waiting to turn in.

This all day. The one here in Horn Lake is awesome. However, there is a small gas station in Nesbit that has a crazy good ham and cheese biscuit for a dollar. If they wouldn't charge over 2 bucks for a 20 oz coke, I'd stop more often.

That Hwy 20 corridor seems to have gone downhill in recent years. Outside of the new Ted’s BBQ and Tenders, everything else on that stretch past Hughes Rd. is just low end fast food (McDonald’s, Krystal, Hardees, etc). Areas like that aren’t the typical Chick-Fil-A wheelhouse. A lot of the arsenal folks seem to be moving west of Wal-Triana or north of 72, in which case they either get directly to / from work via Wal Triana or County Line to 565, or by taking 72 or a northern parallel road to Research Park Blvd. Therefore, Hwy 20 is becoming less and less traveled by folks on their daily commute.

If a new Chick-Fil-A opened anywhere in the Madison area, my guess would be County Line Rd. That whole area around James Clemens is starting to explode with growth.

True, that area is a little aged and looking a little rundown (Ted's and Tender's buildings have been there for several years, so they're not new), but it's not exactly stagnant. Traffic is pretty heavy there around lunch time so the fast food places and other restaurants are pretty busy.

There supposedly is a new Fairfield Inn to be built near the Hughes Rd intersection, there's a Home2Suites at the 565 interchange, and Town Madison, so perhaps the area will undergo a transformation for the better. But right now it looks pretty ragged (even though most of the fast food joints have torn down their old buildings and built new ones). Razing the old hotels would be a step in the right direction. There are about 3 of them that could go and not be missed.

It certainly doesn't look like the most progressive city in the state when you drive through that area. I'll bet there's a Chick Fil A built before long, and it'll be closer than County Line Rd, but there'll probably be one there too, nearer the south end.

Taco Bell. Breakfast crunchwrap. There is no other legitimate contender for fast food breakfast champion. It's an entire breakfast (sausage, egg, hasbrown) wrapped in a tortilla. Fire sauce optional.

That is the truth. Hardee’s biscuits are awesome, the burgers are solid, and even their chicken tenders are some of the better ones around. My kids even live their cinnamon raisin biscuits

I don’t know when they upped their game, but they’re pretty strong when it comes to fast food.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, who the 17 is running KFC these days? I don’t care what town you’re in, I’ll guarantee you that they’re out of something you want, they’ll still mess up what you settle on after waiting for ten minutes, and their interiors are absolute dumps.

I can't speak for the Mayor, but I don't go because even with 30 people working at a time, they still can't get my order right. Chick-Fil-A is overrated, overrpriced, and I am scared they will spit in my food if they find out I am Catholic.

You should burn in purgatory for that **

I can own the land that they ground lease, however. Sell at a 3.98 cap. Boom.

Hardee's is building in the Ralph and kacoo's building on County Line. Supposed to break ground in August.
