I live close to West Virginia and we have all of these little unknown goobers pitching Par Mar stores, Giovanni's etc... Has anyone persuaded you to try a product they are pitching?

I've never and probably will never buy something because a figurehead is associated with it. Good on the kids for gettinga piece of the pie but I try to avoid advertising as much as possible. They'd inject it into your dreams and thoughts if they could.

I have seen some ads and then bought products but simply because the product fits a need or want and never because of the pitchman.

Sometimes I still laugh thinking about Reeds raucous performance in those Donatos pizza ads. What charisma and comedic timing.
