Platoon subbing is not working. Work in the subs one by one with the starters.
He needs to STAGGER subs. This semi platoon system, we DO NOT HAVE THE PERSONNEL to do it.

Brea just stood there and offered Noah no help in stopping his man from driving to the basket.
I understand Pope has to try to get some bench guys confidence. But maybe blend them in a little differently.

Perry, Noah, Chandler, Almonor, and Garrison are going to play. Maybe they shouldn't all at the same time, but that's our bench.

I agree. It's clear as day there is a massive drop off. Its been a consistent drop off. Probably costed us the Texas game. I don't know how he doesn't see it.
So why would you continue doing the same thing over and over? It's not working. Doesn't really matter about the analytics.
Seems every time we get out to a fast start we sub guys out too quick and lose momentum why not wait until we peter out the hot start ?
I know Pope is trying to keep the starters fresh. But if he's that concerned then they're not doing as well as they should with conditioning.
The play before Garrison got posterised he watched a man lay it up. He’s got to go after that and let them know they can’t do that.
Brea has to be one of the laziest players in the league defensively.

I’m still of the opinion that we pretty much have no choice but to give guys like Perry and Noah (and Chandler even though he hasn’t played yet tonight) a few minutes with all our injuries. It might be time to try some kind of staggered rotation where they spell one starter at a time instead of doing to wholesale hockey changes though. They give up a run almost every time playing as a unit.
i think this timeout was for rest, not because they scored 4 straight. he has to buy time. carr and butler are not healthy enough.
Honestly Brea might be worse than Perry and Noah.
Or it might just be he plays more than Perry and Noah I dunno lol
