Ever since I was a kid my mom pointed out to me how often ESPN confuses our schools. I am 28 years old. The absurdity happens several times a year and I can't remember a year it didn't happen. I don't want to do the leg work because I have other **** to do today, but do we not a resident archivist who could collect at least a dozen examples of the errors and submit them to ESPN? Would they then perhaps address the problem? Or would we have to get it trending on Twitter for anyone to care? I think this is one both fan bases could get behind. Perhaps it could be a group effort.

I think they just enjoy making fun of the state of Mississippi. They know we don't like it, so they chuckle every time they are able to slip in a "mistake".

Jung, I'm sure you don't care because you seem to be a good dude but your

brothers (a couple) on Nafoom are calling you out for being too normal but they use a different term.

Correct. They know the 17’ing difference. We’ve collectively become the sports media punchline. It also affects our state as a whole by marginalizing us to the point of a landmass on TWC. Not only do they confuse us with OM they confuse us now with TAMU in clothing lines.

I can appreciate how someone who posts twice as much as me could fail to appreciate 'having other **** to do today.' I'll look around on Google tonight when I have some time.

I can’t appreciate a rebel who can’t pick up on sarcasm without sarcastics.

I'm with you. I even thought about starting a Twitter page dedicated to the so-called "world wide leader in sports" mistakes.

Touche, I would probably be less on edge if I hadn't worked 70 hours over the last six days.

Probably would be best to make a twitter handle that describes the issue and start tweeting examples with the best hashtags to get visibility. Emailing ESPN would probably be wasted time unless you know a higher up and it still would not put it in the media eye.

ESPNu radio morning show with zarzour and McElroy did it two weeks ago talking about the NIT and even jokingly said "don't make that mistake" and continued on for 5 more minutes talking about how great ole miss looked beating Lewisville

Based upon their statements in the political & social arenas, it is clear to me that ESPN does not consider Mississippi their "target audience". I bet they could absolutely not give a damn what anyone associated with MSU, UM, USM, or hell even Delta State think of their almost daily confusion about the schools.

And call it @ESPM
