UK at Bama Game Thread! Go Cats!

[DaDirtyLeb69]

just win Wednesday against Oklahoma, you gotta win that one. And then come to rupp and see what happens

[oldsports_]

Wow calling our player an idiot. Congrats

He has meltdowns every game when we are down.

[phyrekat]

Sears bumps the defender, then EXTENDS the arm to create separation.....no call
Pope needs to get kicked out of this game

[wildcat1515]

The SEC really needs to look into this game.

They did after the 1st game with Bama cause of all the FTs they shot more than us.

[ToniTonyToneDelkDelkDelk]

We look great.
Then we stink.
Rinse
and
Repeat

I want this season to be over.

[Lempface]

Yep, one question has been answered. It wasn't just Cal. Refs still hate our guts.

Protecting an SEC 1 seed. Easier road = more games = more money. Can't convince me differently. We got out to a huge lead and then 4-5 questionable calls/no-calls in 2 minutes to get them back in it.

[sosoblue]

It's ova guys not enough talent on the floor.

[bbnkat02]

I'm so tired of losing

Having NO PG isn't helping.

Just sucks to be a sports fan in Kentucky right now. We're not great. Bengals suck, Titans suck. Meh. I'm just slowly losing my passion for sports. Never thought that would EVER happen.

[YankeeCpt_rivals378522]

as good as the the SEC has done with everything...
i think if we packed all these refs up and traded them to... almost any major conf for their refs.....
it would be an upgrade.
SEC REFS FAIL

[Blue wood]

Regardless of injuries, yes, it is getting very tiring. Likely this game will end in another L.

Maybe we should fire Pope so you wussies can feal better. We are lucky to be where we are right now

[ArtLaibsGhost_rivals]

Pretty good D but better shot

[HenryMuto]

Down 13 with 5 mins left and we take Williams out ? Am I missing something ?

[Thunder Mash]

Maybe we should fire Pope so you wussies can feal better. We are lucky to be where we are right now

Who said anything about firing Pope?

[TheBlueMist]

At this point, just beat the spread and don't get injured.

[katwest]

Sears is really effective with that shoulder move knocking Noah 4 feet backwards no call. Then hesitates carrying the ball and gets where he wants to. Most protected player I’ve seen in a while.

[precipitance]

So they never call their push offs

or Sears when he caries the ball.

[ukfan117]

Alabama's bench has destroyed us in the second half.

[Crawfords Corner]

GD I hope we get healthy ***k!!!!!

[GoNoles111]

Oh well. Just out manned. OU and LSU are the two we need to get

[ukalum1988]

Oweh will not pass the ball as he only looks to drive it.

He had a terrible game tonight. Case closed.

[hotelblue]

perry 1-7 from 3. if we just could got a couple of those.

[Broker]

These refs man.

********, it is NOT the refs. Both teams have fouled like heck based on rules a couple years back but today the rules allow much much more contact. We just have to adjust to the physical game that is 2025.

[HenryMuto]

8/25 from 3 not going to cut it vs a team like Bama

[FirewithFire]

Alabama is 328th in the nation in giving up fouls. We sit at 194. I guess Bama just had a really clean game tonight. SEC again protecting their wallet.

[megablue]

Amari makes alot of dumb mistakes. Every time we go on a run he turns the ball over.

He had 5 assists and ZERO turnovers … and then … it all went bad and he had a flurry of turnovers.

[YankeeCpt_rivals378522]

they call the games like they are from the SEC and Kentucky effed their dreams up...

[Cowtown Cat]

Atrocious, horse **** officiating

Yep! Horrible

[anon1790746896]

at least carr seems to be healthy again

[fastpaste101]

FN hate losing….

[ManitouDan_anon]

Its the old " I'm tired of losing to football schools " thing .. Bama doesnt give a wet **** about hoops , I lived there for 3 years . I like Bama OK , but Oats is kind of a dick

[Big BlueBeard]

perry 1-7 from 3. if we just could got a couple of those.

We all believed the hype.

[richbrookstomato]

Perry forgot how to shoot

Scores a MILLION points in HS, but can't make WIDE OPEN looks today.

When we REALLY needed the young guys to steep up, they played like ACTUAL Freshmen today in a tough environment.

[anon1790746896]

He had 5 assists and ZERO turnovers … and then … it all went bad and he had a flurry of turnovers.

He is frustrated now and it shows in turnover

[Cold Stout Beer]

Man where the hell is this dead eye shooting from Perry we all heard about. Guy is what, 30% from 3 this year. Save me the BS from now on.

LMAO at anybody that thought he'd be thrown into battle as a Freshman and burn the nets down. LOFL !!!!

[HenryMuto]

What sucks is we played well enough to win but a thing here or a ref call there or a this there and not only will we not win we are double double digits

[Blue_2_the_bone_rivals]

not to be a refs guy, but it’s hard to play and execute when one team is allowed to be physical but the other can’t.

[ImTheVillageIdiot]

I for one am impressed where we are without Butler and Robinson.

Me too. Looks like a team playing with heart and fight but just not enough horsepower. I’m proud of the effort, just not the result I wanted

[megablue]

Man where the hell is this dead eye shooting from Perry we all heard about. Guy is what, 30% from 3 this year. Save me the BS from now on.

He was 41% coming into the game, fourth best on team, but clearly off tonight.

[phyrekat]

These refs man.

Remind me again, what was the line?

[hotelblue]

.500 in the SEC

that’s not the slam it usually would be. a lot of analysts are saying this is the strongest conference, relative to the field, of all-time.
