That’s all we should comment on it and move on. No need for a hostage style Ole Miss presser with Cohen and Keemun.

I truly do wish him well and hope he can put his family back together. Indeed he did make some very poor decisions that unfortunately affect a lot of innocent people. He is such an easy guy to like and get behind. I do forgive him but the consequences of his actions unfortunately remain.

He’ll get a second chance somewhere in a few years and probably do a great job. There just have to be consequences for things like this.

Just imagine how his wife's heart feels today. Also the rest of his family. They are the ones I feel bad for, not him. So sad.

Most likely there is no one who feels worse than he does right now. Not only has he lost one of the best jobs in the county he has screwed up two families. Cohen did exactly what he had to do, if you will cheat on your pregnant wife what else will you do? It would have been easy to sweep it under the rug and in time all would have forgotten. He made the hard call can did the right thing and sent a message that under this administration this action will not be accepted. A whiskey glass and a woman's *** have ruined many a good man.

All that being said - still for the life of me don't understand why people like him continue to screw up. I know its the most powerful thing on earth and undefeated, but if you are going to do it have some smarts about you. It's not like they were drunk in the club and hooked up. Planning had to be involved and when planning is involved you have time to think.

Yeah, just a little godfather reference. I was as pumped about Cann as any coach we have ever hired. I feel for the family, but we all mistakes. Hopefully, he will learn and grow from it. I'm not about to cast stones. Chris Rock says a man is only as faithful as his options.

He'll have a lot of work to do to fix his family, but the guy is talented and will be back somewhere coaching very soon and being successful. Of course that is not what is important now.

Should be more like a man without convictions is only as faithful as his options. I seriously doubt Chris Rock has any.

I agree that he'll be back. If Petrino can get hired, then Cann for sure can. I just hope it's no where in the SEC. and if he goes to LSU, I may break some furniture around my house...

I told someone a while back that I felt if there’s any men’s coach at state that would finally break through and win a natty here it would be him. Sigh

Respect his statement. He’s forgiven in my eyes. Not forgotten. Life long mistake.

Wish the best for him and his family.

Hopefully the mullen group crash and burn though.

There is pain in knowing or suspecting something. It is something else to have everyone you know, all the news outlets, and every clown on the internet making your pain and embarrassment a headline. There’s no getting away from it for them.

Lol.

Cannizaro was not fired for just having an affair. i don’t know what else there was to this...but no D1 coach is fired for having an affair.

Yep, this is where he goes first. MLB doesn't give a damn what he did, probably half their players do the same thing on every road trip. He won't make $533,000/yr but he'll make enough till the next college job comes along. Then he'll have to figure out how to look mothers in the eye when he's recruiting their sons telling hem he'll take good care of them and turn them into real MEN!

Exactly. Neither was Petrino. Bobby P was fired for exposing the university to potential lawsuits regarding hiring in the AD.
Andy must have put MSU at risk in some way

If he wants us to begin to forgive him, he needed to state what mistakes were made for us to know what to forgive him for. Right now its just message board rumors. We need to know what mistakes he made. The statement was too general.
