After leaving Lexington, I have lived in Nashville (UT country) and currently St Louis (Mizzou AND KU). I honestly find the KU fans worse than both other SEC teams combined.
Same here, growing up only 5min from TN. I had only met 1 UL fan until I went to college at WKU (just 30 miles away). A lot of Jefferson County kids go to WKU (or used to).Live in southern KY about 40 mins from TN. I’ve only met 4 UL fans all my life. It’s UK or UT here.
The largest group of UL fans in Kentucky outside of Louisville is in Eddyville, residents of the Kentucky State maximum Department of Corrections.Same here, growing up only 5min from TN. We vacationed in Wisconsin Dells in 2015. I wore UK stuff. I figured I would catch some grief the other way but nobody said anything to me.I got hammered and walked around Wisconsin’s campus the summer after we had knocked them out of the tournament. I was impressed no one swung on me. I deserved to catch one as much as I was running my mouth.
