Seems likely it's Almonor based on his being on campus and social media rumblings.
Here we go, Get the Daffys warming up
Players pick their booms, so get to work catspause detectives and disect this!
Trilly added a prediction for Almonor to Kentucky at 9:05
Really good spot up shooter and did well against Edey on defense. I’ll take that.
Now the focus is completely on that last wing scorer spot.

Another massive addition of experience/proven skill
Good from the Charity Stripe also. I hate missed free throws.
For the late start and circumstances on building this team. I love the make-up. Now get Lazier and we are a legit 10 deep. Big Blue Madness and the Blue White game are going to be a pleasant watch this season and both should be very competitive.
I can't believe the staff pulled this off! Going toe to toe with Siena and stealing one!
Hell yeah!!! Welcome to the BBN young man!!!
Low risk, high reward pickup for depth. UK is definitely gonna have a good shooting team next season.
LOL of course he did. Not saying he's not connected, but come on man.
Has the experience of knocking off a #1 seed in last year's NCAA tournament. Very positive contribution to a winning culture and attitude as Pope gets his UK program off the ground.
Good pick up . Welcome to the BBN young man. This staff is doing a very good job.
I like it. Got to have bench and role players. He also seems like a dude who could give you a big game or two.
LOL. So our assistant coach releases a tweet at 8:59 essentially telling EVERYBODY in the world this news. And six minutes LATER Trilly “predicts” it?
What a joke. Hey, who wouldn’t wanna pay for super inside scoops like that!
Most are really underestimating this roster. I love it. Pope and the staff have experience, shooters, leadership and lock down defenders throughout.
Let em keep underestimating us, good things happen when you just play the game and fly under the radar.
No - this year's 5th year seniors are the last class with the free covid year. Almonor played in 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 and now has his senior year left.
Looks like we will have 9-10 guys shooting at least 33% from 3, with 2-3 of them in the 40% range. Fueger said we are going to shoot at least 35 threes per game. I can't wait for the Coach Mark Pope era to begin-so excited to be about college hoops and NOT NBA draft.
If you make predictions after everything has taken place you look really good.
Good addition to the team but the next boom needs to be for Lanier or Jaxson and if it’s not then I’ll be worried about this season
Powerhouses Oakland, UNCW, St. Peter's don't care about the burger boys and beat the Cats. Don't discount any of these kids or schools.
He’s a solid backup 4. We were a little thin in the frontcourt until this addition. So while not exciting, definitely needed.
Get two of Jackson/Poplar/Lanier and let’s ball.
Won’t be an impact player but great for depth. Still need one of Lanier, Robinson, or Poplar.
This is still a fringe top 25 team right now.

I do not believe so as he was a Freshman during the '21-'22 season. My understanding is the NCAA only granted the additional year of eligibility to student-athletes who had their 2020 season impacted by Covid. He never redshirted either. Thus, I believe he only has the one year of eligibility left. Hope to be proved wrong though.
Their is a lot to like about this guy. First hes 6'7" 220 #. Hes a man that plays a lot like Chuck Hayes. To win games, he will do the dirty work plus he scores, rebounds and shoots the 3. Great pickup.
