Look, idiot....considering the difference in recruiting and the quality of personnel between the two teams...who do you think was pathetic? The coaches? The players? Give me a break! We were playing Alabama! I'm impressed that we were competitive and in a position to win...without our starting wide receiver group.

Look you ******* moron, he’s not getting paid $5million a year to play teams close. How hard is that to comprehend? Win ******* football games, go to Atlanta, and get in the playoffs. End of story.

A multi millionaire does not need excuses made for him. He needs to put up or shut up.

Guess you would be the better coach and had us ahead by 3 td’s at that point in the game.

Everybody agrees we were rolling running the ball. We just went too conservative a tad early. We took 3 on that drive when we needed 7. We’ve come a long way. Nobody gave them love and they grinded all game. These boys fought hard and became men tonight. Screw anybody who sold a ticket to a Bammer or thought 2nd of us all week.

Whose fault is it that we currently have a great difference in quality of personnel between the two teams?

At least Mullen made it 3 quarters without choking. He usually outcoaches himself way before that against Bama.

Your user name isn't all that sucks. Check the 17'n CONTEXT! You know, silly things like recruiting...and you'll eventually (if you think about it long enough and hard enough) get my point. They are better than us at every position....that's EVERY position. Let that sink in if you can.

In my mind tonight was a disappointment, but I can live with it. I don't feel compelled to look for scapegoats.

That’s weird. Every other coach in the West is getting paid the same amount or more (except Luke who was always on borrowed time).

How’s that working out for any of them not named Saban?

Mullen said after the game the coaches need to do a better job calling plays on both sides of the ball. He put it all on himself and Grantham.

Mullen is not why we lost this game. Jalen Hurts and Calvin Ridley are the reason we lost. They made big time plays when they had to. Bottom line.

And why? Explain why that would even be in the realm of possibility.

Because of his record in nine years against ranked teams. Others have put the stats up after losses to top 25/top10 teams before. Now, it's true he really struggles in those games. He had the opportunity but had a WTF moment on next offensive series when they missed the field goal. He was playing for overtime when he should have been playing for a win.

Was highly pissed off and and probably a little drunk last night when I posted that. Now, I'm just aggravated.

It took us over 100 years of playing college football, and now some folks want to run him off because we don't have several national championships after nine seasons?

Nick Saban and the REC. did you notice the number of players that were on Bamas team PLAYING that had either committed to us and then flipped or flirted with us and stuck with Bama? One even took a preferred walk-on spot vs our scholly offer. Smh.

I would make the argument that the opposite is true. If he was playing for OT (which is conventional wisdom for the home team), he would have run all 3 three plays on that post-missed FG drive. Instead, he opened with two pass plays.

View attachment 8535They beat us in total yards. Look at 3rd down conversions and Time of Possession. Nothing on that box score indicates a close game except for those two stats, and that's an indication of good coaching.

Man 17 that noise. Mullen is the whole reason our team is where it is. I hope Mullen is here another 10 - 15 years. All those years of winning is starting to pay off.
