Any PG in Portal?

It would be some s*** if that dude ended up in a UK jersey after the numbers he put up against us.
Pop Issacs from TTU is still in the portal. He has a sophomore slump but he can score.
It isn't just about who's in the portal right now. Once word gets out that there is an opening at UK others might declare. They have until May 1st.

Small would be a good add, Blackmon from Stetson, Robinson from byu, after that I have no clue. Also would add griffin from bama but I think he already bought and paid for

We have the greatest shooter/scorer in KHSAA history coming in, and he can be a solid backup PG from Day 1, even though he didn't really play PG in high school. Perry is a better ball handler than anyone we had this year, except for maybe Dillingham. Not saying he's a better passer than Sheppard, but he is a better ball handler based on what I've seen. Pope's offense is very similar to what Lyon County ran.

He’s not terrible, but he’s not as good as his games against us suggest. Only a career 32% shooter from 3 despite the huge numbers of them he launches. I’m not sure he’d be my first pick.
Want 0 to do with Isaacs for several reasons. Off the court #1 but also his Dad is an insane lunatic. Sunset Rick isn't what you want around the program. That is if he's still alive, he's been on his "death bed" for about 40 yrs according to him. Between he and Dinos Trigonis, there's been more coke consumed then a Diddy Party honoring Pablo Escobar.

The Grifin kid from bama would fit perfectly with what oats wants to do offensively
Fact he left a Final Four team was surprising to me--Griffin is a great shooter my concerns are he's awful when he has to put dribble/pass. He didn't advance his game in those areas. Also think he entered the Portal with a team in mind already and we'll find out soon who that team is. Most of the guys on successful teams aren't going in to gauge their interest-they have been tampered with and know where they are going.
He's Cason Wallace's old HS teammate--maybe he returns to TX somewhere? SMU now they are in ACC? A&M? Houston who needs some shooting as we know.

UK athletic director Mitch Barnhart came on KSR Friday morning to talk about the hiring of Pope. In the middle of the conversation, host Matt Jones asked Barnhart if Pope is capable of bringing in the caliber of players necessary to compete for national championships. Barnhart teased that Pope has already begun doing just that.
“I think the proof’s in the pudding. Obviously we got to go get that done,” Barnhart said. “So I get off the phone with (Pope) last night and he already talked to me about two players that he couldn’t get to come to have a conversation with him at BYU that already called him back and said Coach I’ll come to Kentucky. It’s about the name on the front of the jersey.”

The fact that Fland hasn't decommitted yet, when others have, tells me there may be a chance we can keep him here.
