Edwards is undraftable, Cal said so.

No NBA coach is going to put that kid in their starting line-up, so that means he’ll have to come off the bench. Calipari told us at seasons end he couldn’t bench Edwards and Wagner because he would lose them. Thus, Edwards will check out and sulk when he gets sent to the bench by his NBA team. That’s the only conclusion one could reasonably make with the data we were told. Sheppard and Dillingham could handle bench duty, but not Edwards or Wagner. Being that mentally fragile is really going to make things difficult for those 2 guys at the next level.

What? Try less hard. Your hatred and bitterness has made you incoherent.

Backing John Calipari as a UK guy is gross. It’s disgusting considering who he is and what he’s done to this program. I guess you just can’t think past the used car flyer in your mailbox.

No real UK man has the time of day for the weasel. But you’re not a UK man so I guess it makes sense.

When he leaves, make sure to say bye bye we all can’t wait to see you go.

Explain how he’s wrong?

Did Calipari not admit (more than once) that the reason the better players (Reed and Dilly) came off the bench was because Calipari was afraid that not doing so would hurt Edwards and DJ’s feelings?

You’re so enamored with Calipari (odd) and hell bent on defending anything and everything he does you’ve gotten to the point of being contrary for the sake of being contrary.

The OP is obviously exaggerating a little but how is what he said not accurate?

I don’t care what excuse Cal was running to keep starting Wagner and Edwards. He did it out of spite, because the fans kept asking for a new starting line-up featuring Reeves, Dillingham, and Sheppard. Cal didn't think of it first, and his ego is the size of the Atlantic. The man would rather lose his way than win, and give the Benny's any type of satisfaction.

Face it Edwards did not do enough this season short of a couple of games to make me think he will get drafted, but maybe some team will take a flyer on him really late in the draft. You would think he would stay another year and improve his stock.

JE was trash 75% of the season. Cal sucked all season. I don't trust star ratings anymore. Never to be hyped up by incoming classes again. They all suck, til they prove otherwise. Cal is great at dream crushing. He has too many lifelong fans jaded. Bring UK back and kick this has been to the curb.

He could have a good rookie campaign. If he tries really hard I think he could have one of the most memorable dunk contest the NBA has ever seen next year?

Enjoy the G league Mr. Edwards and your one contract because that's all you will ever get( if that). That this kid should come back for AT LEAST one more year is obvious to everyone but Edwards and the leeches advising him.
You just wait until he wins the dunk contest next year at the all-star weekend.

I have to agree with you about Edwards because he didn't show any particular thing that he was good at. If forced to come up with something, I would say that he has a remarkable ability to get blocked by the rim on dunk attempts.

Don't drag Wagner into this. This was Justin's decision, and Cal's, doing and decision. Wagner was playing when he was told to, as any other player would.

If he’s so mentally weak, shouldn’t you be glad he’s gone? What’s the point?
Personally I am glad he’s gone. Many better options in the portal. He was a big reason for the season being a failure and is partially why Adou went to the portal. Also if we weren’t in such bad shape at pg, I wouldn’t be bothered with Wagner leaving also.

Playing when he was told, huh? Lol kinda funny.

I just wish whoever is leaving would just go ahead and announce where Kentucky can get started trying to build our team for next year. It’s common decency to do so where the school you played at can replace you without having to take players that is their 2nd or 3rd options because of your long drawn out decisions. That’s the least they can do. It’s funny most of our players that come here have no desire to stay more than one year. Then you can look around at other teams in our league and they have juniors and seniors who were high school all Americans, and they stay and sometimes graduate. Other teams in the SEC have players that know they are not ready, they also have better stats than our guys that leave early. Cal has created this monster and now it’s irreversible, still having players leaving without accomplishing much while here, while players on other teams have guys that stayed in school still tormenting Kentucky 3 years later.

Buddy coaches don’t have back bone anymore hell most of haven’t even played. That type of player would’ve been cut immediately in the day of norm. Now we got cowards raising cowards. My kids would be starting for any team if it was the 90s based on their heart, dedication, and numbers. But a small county with political dads says nope I’m gonna let my son start eventhough he can’t dribble or guard.

Cal’s monster has long been out of control and as we have seen so far it appears no changes are being made. Business as usual. It will keep being this way until he’s finally fired. Maybe Mitch will retire soon so we can actually get an AD who cares about winning basketball again.

Well if you like the sleaze ball you’re not a UK fan. We don’t like losing and having our program pimped out so not sure why you’re even here.
