loved this kid. Regardless of the end, I loved watching this kid and I know his heart bleeds blue. Wish the best for him. Love his dad, one of my all time favorites. Glad I got to watch Reed give his best on the court. Best wishes young man. You did the University and the State proud.

He's one of the reasons I took my kid to Rupp on Senior Night.

Don't know how true, but we had a guy at State tourney on Wednesday tell us that a deal is being put together for him to make 8 million next year if he comes back.

I love him too, I’m sad that he was either scared or not put in a position to succeed his last 2 games but it’s a shame this team didn’t win anything. I’d love him to return but that would mean Cal is back so it sucks.

Same, he has a great draft position available in a terrible draft, he should leave. He was good here minus 1 game. My only complaint with him is I wish he shot more while he was here
There is more than just being drafted high. He’s not physically ready to go against grown-*** Men. If he waits a year, a year of getting stronger and hopefully quicker, he increases his chances of getting a much higher value 2nd contract.

Fair, but he also risks getting injured and hurting his draft stock. I just think in the weakest draft in recent memory he should leave and cash in. But I wouldn’t be upset at all if he returns

Reeds draft position is like the buy out for cal a lot of erroneous info. He won’t go top 10 lottery will be a stretch after workouts. He showed out quick because he didn’t have to adjust to uk culture like the other freshman. So he got off to a great start but fizzled down the stretch.

People don’t quite understand the risk of coming back . It’s easy for people that don’t have millions on the line to say . Like you said this class is projected to be a lot weaker than the following class .

IMO he tailed off late because teams started keying on him, and his 'coach' ran nothing to get his 54% 3 pt shooting lottery pick open looks. I think his success burned JVC's ***.

Exactly, he’s so far above where he should actually be drafted right now. Nobody in their right mind would turn that down if it turns out to be the reality of where he would go.

Hard to argue against because when it mattered he did not look like the same player.

This wouldn’t even be a discussion if he wasn’t from Kentucky . Fans are hoping his love for the University is greater than the money waiting on him right now

Perfect example is the kugel guy from Florida, he enters the draft last year and he is a lottery pick, he ends up staying and now I’m now sure if he is getting drafted at all

I agree 100%. Even that isn’t enough. I just hate that if he leaves nobody will remember how good the 3 R’s were. Just the results and Cal’s cloud over the entire year.

And then afterwards his dumbass saying he doesn’t need the portal and likes hai roster next year. When college basketball is getting older and older and he still wants to rely on freshman, when this freshman class ain’t that great is infuriating. Kentucky should be all over the portal
Should be but we will again have a lineup of 7 Freshman trying to figure out the college game all year while losing 10+ games. We are legitimately losing every single real scorer off this team. Instead of getting 2 of them back like most teams, we never see them again.

Next years team will have significantly worse guard play unless they attack the portal, and they need a big from the portal. That’s why I say move on now find a coach and let him attack the portal for a month and build a roster and let’s go
