Imagine having the bigs of Oregon who DUNK THE BALL instead of standing there double-pumping before kicking it out, or getting blocked on a layup.

The lack of upsets today makes me even more nervous for Kentuckys game
It's not like teams that don't upset other teams means another upset has to happen. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.

The upsets are coming, just be patient. And it won't be Oakland beating Kentucky.

The best teams in the SEC are UT, auburn, Bama and UK n some order. My expectations beyond those teams were low. Florida maybe can make the sweet 16 but idk after the injury to their guy.

we still want Mark Pope as our next coach?
Anyone with a brain cell didn't.
Pope is a great guy. Loved his time at UK. Least that's what he told me. He is a solid coach for a team like BYU who hasn't had much success in history. I'd say it's his dream job.

Saw terrible Pat Adams reffing the Morehead State game. He is so bad.
He may get the KY game there’s 4 games at each site, Morehead played in Pittsburg so it’s going to be refs from Mich St Miss St or Morehead St Illinois or a combination to officiate our game tonight

Oregon has what we didn’t against So. Carolina: a big who looked to score and neutralized SC’s inside game.

South Carolina loss is a definite upset. Also, Miss State list to a lower seeded team, 8 list to a 9. Maybe not so much an upset Miss State was just terrible.

Yeah, I'm just basing it on seeds. We are probably gonna have 4 lower seeds win the first 8 games.

Why would anyone base their decision on Mark Pope on one game one way or the other? lol

These "I told you so" posts are strange.

If you wanted Pope beforehand, this one game shouldn't change your opinion.
If you didn't want Pope before this game, likewise.
I just wish the UK fans would stop trashing Pope. I know from first hand experience he is a fantastic guy and absolutely loved playing for UK. He is obviously coaching where he wants to be. He will never be considered for the UK job. I think he knows this and I think he is fine with that.

The SEC is garbage. State was the only team that gave Auburn any kind of game last weekend, and South Carolina beat us worse than anyone all season.

Oregon looks like they could beat UConn. How did they lose so many?

3 double digit seeds and 4 likely to advance in the first 8 games. Just not name brand schools getting beat yet.

IMO it's not. They are overseeded. Haven't been playing well at all for over a month outside of a couple games.
Altman I think is retiring from coaching as well.

Kentucky is either gonna come out and play extremely loose and or they are gonna see cal get nervous as hell on the sidelines and him start to yell & freak out and Kentucky starts to play nervous

Look how Oakland is talking before this game

Gohlke might not be too smart with this quote:

They’ve got the best three-point percentage in the country. We think we shoot it better than they do, but they’re going to light it up if we don’t guard the three-point line. We’ve just got to go out there and force tough twos."

Well, genius, if we have the best percentage from three in the US, you don't shoot it better than we do. In fact, you're barely in the top 100 in three point shooting (#94) at 35.5%.

And they aren't going to make our guys who mostly have many inches in height beyond their players take "tough twos".
