On the bench where he belongs...
Per some insiders he won't be part of the regular rotation unless needed.
If we are up double digits at the half idc if fans are playing.
We did just fine without him. Z is ok, but he probably would've just added a couple TOs. Hopefully we can pad the lead and he can get some clock.

Mitchell has been sorely missed and Ugo has been effective on both ends, just wish he could make 2 FT's in a row. Even Bradshaw did some good things.
Unfortunately for Z he's lost on defense every time he's on the court and this team's problem is defense. If the offense is what was struggling you play him and live with his defensive lapses, but when we have a lot of other guys who can score.
Tre has been really bad offensively still. Not sure what's going on be we need him to be efficient in that pick and pop. But that wide open one he short armed in the lane and the 3 that was a foot wide were embarrassing.

We have to shorten up the rotation. Playing too many guys.

Z will be a NBA All-Star within 5 years under the right organization. Book it
AT least he can catch the ball in traffic, set screens properly and knows where to be on the court. His offense will come back.
What does that matter. We have guys that can shoot. We need guys that can play a lick of defense. And he can't.
Z is noticeably worse. He just runs around like a chicken with its head cut off never sure where he should be positioned.

No one on this team can play good defense when it comes to holding the opposing team to a low field goal %. They all suck at that. Ugonna is good at blocks and Sheppard is good at steals but none of them can stay in front of their man so they might as well play their most talented players offensively which Big Z is clearly a top 3 player offensively on the team.
I love Z, but don’t get how anyone can watch him and not see what a huge liability he is in defense. He’s probably the worst defender on a terrible defensive team.

Based on 4 UK games, watching game film of him before he arrived at UK, the eye test, and over 3 decades of watching basketball games. Only Rob and Reed are better on offense than him. And Big Z has a higher potential than those two.

You are probably one of the geniuses that was thrilled when Oscar declared for the draft lol.
Z would be fine next year with an off-season in the program and then a team built with him as a feature player going into the season. He’s the type of player that needs a big role. He’s just not going to get that on this team, and really to no fault of his own.
But he will be developing in the G League next year instead. Which is not necessarily a bad thing at all. It just sucks that Cal will say “aww shucks you guys saw how Z is gonna be a great one. Another guy who could be an all star in the league one day too!!!” Won’t try to sell him on coming back whatsoever. Maybe a new coach could make it a priority. Donovan Clingan had a very solid Freshman season and could’ve left, but came back to UConn. Why can’t Z at UK??
Ugo deserves all the minutes at the 5.
I would say the answer to that is "YES" considering he's only had about 40 minutes of game action total. Check his per 40.

I mean great win. Love to get off the snide finally. But Z didn't get a single damn minute. It just shows Cals done with Z. If I were that kid I'd head back to Europe and start working towards the draft.

Z can't grab a couple minutes with a Double digit lead.
Z to me is the difference Maker for this team. If he can get minutes, get used to the college game and get in a rhythm. But I already can see cal has turned the page and Z has been forgotten. Even though he has shown brilliance in the little time he's played.

Cow will live in die with Edwards and Ugo, Z is gone. Ugo did good on defense against a bad team. He has yet to do anything against a good team and has stonehands. Z was the answer going forward. But cow is not even going to develop him for this year. And he will not be back next year. Man I hate cow.

Ugo, Stonehands will play good sometimes against bad teams. Nothing against good teams but Cal is anthings.
Z is that guy who takes us over the hump but he's only had a few college bb games with real rub and in those he did some amazing things. Tonight he eas laughing and hugging Bradshsw, great kid. But more importantly head and shoulders better passing and scoring then the other 2 bigs and has such limited mins. With experience I can only imagine.
Zero Z mins tonight, it's over. Cal is over. Wasting a unicorn on the bench to grab his ankles for Klutch. I hate Cal and I use to be one of his biggest defenders. In his postgame never mentioned Z but said he wishes he could have got Burks in.
