The zone is not some magical defense. If a team gives good effort, and plays smart, they can play good defense in almost any defense.

Yes you could tell NC was slowed down a lot with the zone. Definitely the way to play them. NC players > Syracuse players but the zone and Syracuse players playing hard and crazy negated that.

They lost the game on defense not offense.
