Bomb away. It’s not like we are defending or stopping offensive rebounds by the other team now.
I would like to add that Calipari needs to give Jim Boeheim a call and hire him to teach this team a 2-3 zone to at least play on out of bounds plays to stop the easy buckets. I am just holding on untill Calipari leaves.

I honestly don't trust Mitchell right now. But I'm on board with rolling with the othe four.

I like this. We have 5 non replacement level or worse players in my opinion and those are the 5. Of course Mitchell the last 2 games has struggled as well.

I go through the rest of our key contributors and ask “how hard would it be for the other team to have an equal or better player matchup up with this player?”

For Bradshaw, Edwards, Ugo, Z(very small sample), Burks, and Adou…my answer would be not very, probably pretty easy honestly.

It honestly doesn't matter what 5 we seem to play. We still seem to score a lot of points not matter what, but we also give up way too many. We have tried just about every lineup possible and they all suck on defense. Honestly, many of our issues would likely be fixed by going to a zone.

Mitchell is a 5th year and has always sucked on D, Reeves is very similar. The freshman are all bad defenders except for Reed being good at occasionally getting in the passing lane for a steal. However, the mis reads put him out of position a lot. The only decent defenders are Adou and Ugo. And neither one of them are good enough to carry a team defensively. Clearly man defense is not ideal for this group.

We score enough points to beat any team, we just give up way too many to every team we play.

Mitchell has been pretty darn good for about 80% of this season so his inclusion is not an abomination.

Why not go 5 guards?

Bring Mitchell and Ugo off the bench. Edwards giving breathers here and there. Run, gun, and bomb away.

I think Sheppard is better off the bench. He is weak with the ball at times, and also struggling against physical guards. Mitchell I'm just not seeing winning basketball. From lazy defense/rebound to soft post play ECT.

At this point I would rather theiro start at the 4. Oyenso Still gives us a defensive presence inside. I would go with.

Oyenso.

Bench: Sheppard/Mitchell /Edwards
Sheppard sub 1-2 ----25 min.
Mitchell 4-5---- 20-25 min. Depends on effort
Edwards 3-4.

I have a feeling big Z could make a big difference, but it might be to late in the year.

Also am wondering if his GA game set some guys off. It appears watching replay of that game that some were not to receptive of that?

We should always have 3 guards and a combo of Thiero, Mitchell and Ugo depending on matchups. Either Bradshaw or Z only for depth when needed. Burks would be the next man up.
