My tea leaves are that he posted 1 quote or article headline for each school....the one for Kentucky is the one stating that he is "leaning one way"....doesn't that mean he associates leaning one way with Kentucky?

Boom. Sherlock Holmes. He's a CAT.

I see that too. It’s either obvious or an obvious troll attempt at us

I saw that too, but it’s almost too obvious. Anyway, the release of a Top 3 usually means a commitment is imminent. I really feel like Kentucky has the momentum. Followed so many recruitments and on misses this is usually the point where you see 8 threads a week like “has anyone heard anything on Edgecombe?”. His recruitment is in line with guys we end up getting, where there’s positive momentum followed by a commitment soon after. If he’s not a Cat within 20 days from now and has yet to announce a decision, we can probably forget about it.

Hmm, if I'm being unbiased, I only see him talking about Baylor and the things they can do for him. I'm sure he said similar things about Duke and UK, but they aren't posted. If I had to guess from just this one post, I'd say it's Baylor. Hope I'm wrong.

I have a friend who hosted a kid from the Bahamas for two years (kid lived with him while attending school in Memphis). He told me couple days ago that people he talk to (people associated with AAU circuit) think it’s Kentucky. He isn’t predicting this himself, just the scuttlebutt. We will see soon I think. Would be a great add for sure!

That would be a huge surprise if it's Baylor. Nobody in recruiting has talked about them. If he doesn't go to UK, I'd wish it was Baylor

Scott Drew DOES have a nice offense that players like. I know not everyone is a fan of his, but if I'm a recruit who is just trying to get to the NBA.. playing for him and Baylor for one year is a very good choice.

And yes, if it's not us, I hope it's Baylor then.

wonder what negative recruitment my technique scheyer and duke are using for this one.

I still love that guys like Coach K and Self had to resort to this sort of stuff. They were getting beat so bad on the recruiting trail they had to try and kneecap us 1st, instead of just trying to sell their staff and school on the player.

I forget which recruit of ours said this, but maybe back in like 2017, they went on record saying that Self and his staff literally tried to throw Cal's name in the mud.

Scott Drew is a good coach with a great offense but Coach Cal can get you to the NBA and succeed. There's no NBA superstars that come from Baylor ( not that I know of).

He seems like a kid who loves to battle it out, deal with contact. That would suggest Baylor. I just don't see it being Duke. If he's looking at how many have gone onto the NBA and done well, it would be UK. Otherise, I think it's Baylor.

I remember last year Mizzou, showed Travis Perry what they were going to do to Kentucky a couple days before the game, and to their credit Mizzou kicked our ***

If he truly likes to battle it out, take contact, do the nitty gritty, then it will be Baylor or UK.

Duke is the easy way out, it's the gated community of college basketball. Recruits go there for the path of least resistance and to be protected. And that will always work for them. There's always going to be a handful of players who had everything handed to them, are entitled and privileged, and prefer to keep it that way.

Drew is exponentially worse than just about anybody when it comes to negative recruiting. Rick Barnes hates him, Bob Knight once cornered him in a bathroom, etc. One Big 12 coach calls it "the most negative recruiting in the country".

Tea leaves- Kentucky is the only picture where he’s holding a basketball. This is a basketball decision. If he wants to be good at wielding tridents and boomboxes then I guess there will be a place for him and I’ll be ok with whatever he decides.
Agreed and he’s in the middle of the picture surrounded by national titles of which we have the most.

Thats why Pat Riley said Kentucky players are so much more ready to come into the NBA than Dook players !

Hope your tea leaves are accurate. He could be judged as squatting taking a **** on Kentucky.

I hate to disagree with earlier posters but I don't think the UK pic is the only one where he is holding a basketball. I'm great at those spot the difference things. But what does it mean that he is only holding a flaming pitchfork in the Duke pic?
