It’s truly amazing to see good teams lose a series to teams that have essentially given up.

Look at the Brewers next 4 series and you’d think they have a hardline on the division lead, but then you see how bad they are playing bad teams and wonder how they are even in the thick of it!
Their team OPS is one of the worst in baseball. For whatever reason, they just seem to scrape out one more run than they need against the Reds.

Madonna was nasty, and that’s about all she amounted to. Not nasty as in gross but she was freak and didn’t want to hide it.

And then she was in a movie that was to be her Basic Instinct that seemed to be the beginning of an era where ALL the women you wanted naked or in sex scenes became real life for awhile.

The 90’s man, what a time to be alive for!

These dudes are about to give up a million runs the next two months.

Maybe you shouldn’t pull your starter after 75 pitches when you have 4 of the top 6 relievers in most appearances this season.

I don't mean to go potential UKO here but the bullpen is a major issue IMO.

Games Played
1.
Díaz • CIN 50
Farmer • CIN 50
Gibaut • CIN 50
Scott • MIA 50

5.
Doval • SFG 49
Milner • MIL 49
Rogers • SFG 49
Young • CIN 49

I think David Bell has done as good as job as could be navigating them to 59-49. But none of these guys have the historic pedigree to believe they can hang on for 2 more months. Moll is a nice addition but continuing to trot AAAA guys to have to eat innings is going to kill them.

Also back to back potential long bullpen games last night and tonight with no off day until next Thursday could see this spiral out of control quick.
Just gonna put this here. They're in big trouble

They might break 20 again. Good thing we didn’t try to make any sort of push this year when we were in first at the deadline tho

Yep. Season ended at 6:00pm yesterday. At least they got us to Training Camp. The grifters in charge got some extra revenue with those June/July sellouts so successful season - Check.

Marge never would have let this happen. And I'm being 100% serious. She took the ownership of the team seriously, spent money, and cared.

I don’t think there was really that much available at the trade deadline.

Yes there was. The kid that rejected going to LA was available to any other team that wasn’t in a 45% tax code for his wage bracket.

The Red Sox put James Paxton on the market 48 hours before the deadline and got no “real” interest.

I’m pissed the Cubs didn’t attempt on either, and if I was the Reds I’d even be more pissed than as a Cubs fan because we do have +\- on our side for run differential which seems to “always” play itself out over the course of a very long MLB season.

Regardless both teams needed pitching, BAD, and neither really went for it.

As was mentioned earlier, I’m just glad to be in the race since we have flat out been awful since 2016.

And nobody gives AF about the goddam cubs. Or nightly baseball, by minute, updates.

Jfc Vern.. Stop. You’re the new rogue. Start a cubs thread with Hyman who apparently now has 3-4 die hard squads. Adorable

Gyero is Reds based. Fine. Y’all deserve this. No doubt.

Doesn’t mean it’s now a baseball thread for every bandwagon loser insecure Fukboi who had cable…err, WGN/TBS as a kid. Foh

I mean the saddest thing about this is I had no idea Vern was a Cubs fan until people started getting excited about the Reds and then the WGN fans came out. I knew HUBER and krazy were Cubs fans. Vern, not so much.

Sad the type of people that they are. Can't see anyone else get excited about something.

Well, I've spoke about it years past and my FB profile pic is of me at Wrigley Field, but I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. I didn't realize we had such a high number of sensitive *** bitches in here. Age has definitely softened this place. So long, fellas! I enjoyed my time here. Go CATS!

It's amazing how much removing the dark outlines and checkerboard made the field pop. It's looked dingy for years now.

The most frustrating thing about all of it is that it's just really not that hard. And UK has taken the most antagonizing position possible over all of it.

Oh you, the fanbase, resoundingly don't like the checkerboards? F YOU. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN AND THEYRE STAYING.
Oh you think Rupp shouldn't have these weird Central Bank stickers? THEY'RE TEMPORARY (FOR GOING ON 3 YEARS) UNTIL WE SAY THEY AREN'T.
You'd just like to see a throwback alternate worked in from time to time? KANSAS OWNS THE LETTER K, ACTUALLY.

Pumped about the new field though, for sure. Looks beautiful. Didn't see the SEC logos but assume they'll be added.

And unrelated but always cracks me up when I see KROGER FIELD IS A ********!1! said by rival fans. Um, no it's not. At all. Place is pretty dope in spite of some shortcomings (wifi and sound) that we apparently don't know how to fix. Regardless, beautiful stadium, very easy to navigate, great setting, and as campus as grown now feels much more connected to the University rather than in some random parking lot. Great place to watch football.

I'd also say that for an opposing fanbase Lexington has to be a wodie little roadtrip. I think the feedback here is mostly positive, but yea, easy airport, everything pretty centralized, good accommodations, lots of tailgating... I'd make the trip, for sure.

-Like I've said, they're Duke Basketball fans. Not understanding the nuances of baseball, they don't know how to act. I would assume most of them will deliver a score from left to right rather than highest total runs.

-As for the trade deadline. There wasn't much, realistically, available and I didn't want them to breakup the future for a year I don't think we're legit contenders. Next year though... we better be ready to f*cking move.

-I do love Vern though. Fantastic basketball poster but wrong about just about everything else.

-Posted it several times but nothing beats a rainy summer day. When they fall on an occasional Sunday 🙌

-Mark Cavendish Doc on Netflix is outstanding. They just crush those f*cking things.

-I've been to all, but TAMU and Mizzou at this point, and Commonwealth is great for a smaller stadium. As far as I can tell it's the best stadium for actually watching a football game. No bad seats, video boards at both ends. Easy to navigate. Ole Miss is f*cking awful. That place, for being recently renovated, is a nightmare. Ramps everywhere that make no sense, lines out the door for food and bathrooms. Worst I've seen. If it weren't for the Grove that place would be the worst place in the SEC. State(the worst actual real stadium, setup and city) and USC are pretty damn close. Vandy is obviously the worst by a good margin. UGA fans love the Lexington trip, and while I hate them, they obviously know how to judge a beautiful setup.

-I don't like following recipes when I cook. I'll look at like 3-4 different versions of what I'm making then basically free hand a mashup. Grandpa taught me to cook by taste rather than measurement.

-Shouldn't surprise anyone but for a young Southwest Louisville teen... I wore JNCOs for a short time.
