I would argue the late 80’s and 90’s were peak times of racial fairness, and much more accepting than the current period where everything has become examined through the lens of race.
Saw she's already pocketed $500k and has no problem doing so.
I bet if you heard it and didn’t know it was jelly roll, you would actually like it. I don’t know you or your music but just have a feeling it would be similar for a lot of people.

Both are great songs imo. I thought combs did a good job covering it and I downloaded it on Apple Music which made it my first luke combs download. I’m not a big country music fan but I can appreciate good singing and he sang that song as good as a cis white male could.

100% would have assumed someone named “Jelly Roll” appeared regularly on Def Comedy Jam back in the 90s.
Pop country is garbage.
I liked Tracy Chapman's songs back then.
Jelly Roll is more interesting as a public figure than as an artist.

I’ve been to Seattle twice and I never saw anything out of the norm but that was before Covid and this society collectively losing their minds over the last 4 years.

- Went to a bachelor party this past weekend on Lake Norman outside of Charlotte. Nice little place. Tons of cougs. Big Nascar spot, apparently. @RibsAndWhiteBread told me Spake lives on the lake, too. Day on the lake and a round at Mooresville (super nice public track). Buddy tore his achilles playing volleyball in the back yard. Thought we were gonna have to put him down right there. Didn't move for 10 minutes.
- This year's Foursquare Rum Release (2010) is dope. Total Wine has several fwiw. Recommend you degenerates grabbing a bottle if you're into high proofed expressions.
- Summer has been awesome weather-wise. Especially when you have 30-40 evergreens that don't handle drought well. Good for the water bill too lol
- Speaking of, my panicle hydrangeas are just now flexing. Mine have been slower to bloom than other areas. Still don't know what I'm going to do with my boxwoods. Some are fine but a couple are super rough.
- Encouraged by the Canada trip, maybe most of all how mature Tre Mitchell plays. Very saavy out of the high/low action. He's not super athletic, but never seems to be in a hurry. Doesn't get too high or low. Pick and pop nightmare. I think he's a perfect compliment to the young guns at guard. Pray to God Cal can keep this lighthearted version of himself up. His demeanor is the biggest make-or-break piece to the season, IMO.

Whoa, small world. I live near Lake Norman and my mother in law lives on the lake right next to Indy 500 winner Will Power. Tons of racing down here and a pretty decent lake to boot.

I don’t know what Kyle Tucker looks like but if he’s the guy with the nicely coiffed full head of hair in the back, that’s a pretty easy call.
I just don't miss my hair as much as I thought I would. I never have to style my hair. It takes 3 seconds to dry my head. I can wear hats all the time and not worry about losing my hair. I get a wonderful breeze over the top of my head when I roll a window down. It takes 10 mins to shave down and another 2 for my wife to straighten the back. And, bald is beautiful so you hairists can get pumped.
<-- could easily have a full head of hair, but has been buzzing since before Jaimanthony even met. That's like 17 years. Hair kinda sucks. So happy to have a maintenance free head. And I look damn good, of course.
I shave one half of my head, and the other half is dyed pink and fluorescent blue. I do this to show solidarity with my fellow non-binary citizens.
Oldest turned 4 yday, amazing how quick the years go by. She better get to growing though as the almost 2 year old is in the 94th percentile in height and closing fast.
