Must be new here.

- So in the barrel buying and flipping world I live in, back in February I bought what was supposed to be 9.5YO MGP Rye for a steal of a price.

Then as they shipped in April we were told the price was wrong and changed so if still wanted them the difference had to be settled.

We just got to pulling samples in June to find out the proofs were 96-87 in the barrel. Since 3 different brands all joined together to buy the barrel lot this caused a huge issue as we buy at “buyers risk”.

However we put enough pressure on the seller because no MGP entry fill proof info etc could be provided, and the barrels weren’t even MGP barrels.

So today is a first for me to return a whole barrel lot as if we were exchanging a pair of shoes.

What a world. As I mentioned before things happen just when I need them to, and this is yet another one of those times.

Being between purchasing equipment for distillery, a different barrel lot(this time Ky Bourbon), and sending any extra money to Jackson Purchase for our new make contract so I am stretching myself extremely thin.

Perfect timing on this as I thought I’d be stuck here with alot of funds out on barrels I can’t move.

I mean that song just really sucks.
During all the riots a few years ago, I saw a clickbait headline that was basically just a reddit post from some supposed Antifa member threatening to take the riots to rural areas. I always wanted to see that.

A reality TV show about Antifa trying to riot in Adair County, for instance, would be appointment viewing for me.

I just checked and Jelly Roll currently has two songs in the top 10.

Here he is performing at the Ryman along two other losers.

Turn off your radio. Go find good country music on YouTube, Spotify, Pandora, etc. There’s a ton of it out there.

Whatever you're doing is probably not as interesting as this low speed chase going on in Cali right now where a guy has two flat tires and is pulling a 2 ton generator evading police at 30 mph.

Down in Rogues hometown of St Pete. Lot of older hotels, but a lot of new ones being built here and thru Treasure Island, madierra. Could see this area looking a lot different in 10 years with all the construction. like the town a lot.
Town has an awesome vibe, laid back, something for everyone, very non-judgmental. As I said a lot like KW in vibes and chill atmosphere.
I mean listing the higher proof first.
-anth does not like or putting scores in away-home format. Not sure why but he doesn’t lol.

-Gos I would pay to watch antifa in Adair county. I’m from Maysville/Etown and Adair county might as well have been a different planet. Like 3-4 sit down restaurants, felt going to BG to Juicy Seafood was high cotton, everything closes at like 8-9 besides Walmart and all the students just go there and walk around.

I can’t imagine what the black players from Louisville felt they had gotten themselves into when they showed up there.

-Jelly Roll has his place in music, he’s pretty talented just not for GYERO as he’s been a hardcore pull and cocaine abuser for years so I doubt many of you all can relate(I can’t either but I GET how people do).

You think Jelly Roll's country music is bad you should hear his decade of rap music. I know a guy who's been a big Jelly Roll fan for years and it's comically bad.

That's from someone who considers his country music fine. He's a decent interview on the podcast circuit.

To hell with worrying about people still wearing masks, I want to know hitf do people still wear wired headphones?

Did you get those on your last delta flight and choose to keep them?

Did you manage to keep up with a pair of headphones for 15 years and you still roll with them?

Do you enjoy being tethered to your phone all the time?

Don’t get it man.

So, this JellyRoll guy is this century's Kid Rock? I'd use the emergency powers to lock him up.

Chicken fried steak has it's place in society, comfort food, lunch counter, hearty.

Can't imagine Florida having many quiet, laid back spots these days.

~Aldean wasn't trying to write an anthem to last for eternity. Put his thoughts about a cause to music and wa la....same as virtually every artist EVER has done at some point. Probably above most of your musical mindsets, anyway.

~8 weeks of summer left...90+ needs to return in a hurry.

~Jelly Roll....good grief.

~7-5 w/ the random upset, same as last year.

~60 in 2 1/2 wks....look great, feel great, and I'm still smarter than most.

~Yes, Pti....CES hit a HR, and it was at the right spot. Word of advice...don't look like the complete idiot w/ him that you did with EDC. Pump the brakes.

Well, if he wasn't "trying to write an anthem to last for eternity," then good news......MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!

Because he didn't write the song at all.

I think you meant your above diatribe while opining about Kurt Allison, Tully Kennedy, Kelley Lovelace, and Neil Thrasher.

depends on your definition of laid back, no one said quiet but places like rosemary are.

St Pete is very chill if you’re into bar/app hopping for drinks and food, scooting or walking a dog around with friends at the 100s of dog friendly bars (2 of which are specifically for dogs), listening to live guitar music, hitting the beach and pool a few times a week, trying to bag some hot local or tourist talent on occasion and basically living care free.

To me that’s paradise.

I love how they say “a black ***** woman would have almost zero chance of that achievement herself in country music.”

Yeah no ****. How many rural white gay rappers have hit it big? Is that racist too?

Exactly Max, it’s all exhausting and pointless. Who TOUCHING actually cares?

Fast Car came out when I was young; I thought it sucked and changed the radio every time it came on. I like it more now, but let’s not act like Tracy Chapman had much more than that.

Umm, The Promise?

You really need to open yourself to the arts, Wayne Douglas.
