Players matter. I feel more and more the past 2 years of players were the issue.

Strong lead guard play was going to be key, and these lead guards are legit. Wagner/Dillingham are tough!

Reeves looks looser than he did all of last year.

The-arrow, Shep and Edwards are more subtle but will be as important as anyone in several games for this group.

Mitchell, lol, goodness! We want some more, we want some more!

No Bradshaw or Ugo, whatever. We don’t look or feel small on the court.

I’m going to need an early reality check with this group because this group isn’t here to lose, their smart, they hit shots they seek, and they play defense.

40-0, too early?!?

-first, i thought strokin was calling Anth a classy working mom from chevy chase...which would been a lot funnier/hell of an escalation.

^also...I thought it was Mt Vernon, not Chevy chase.
We’re the white trash one street over in Mt. Vernon. Believe both sides of Cooper are still technically Montclair.

Can you imagine being the poor mfer who gave Darryl “The Hammer” Isaacs head and neck injuries?
I’ve thought about this a lot. When he got out of his car and saw that he had just run over DARRYL ISAACS, you gotta believe that for a split second he had to consider just backing up and finishing him off. Probably would’ve been better off.

Didn’t see any of the basketball game but I saw every minute of my 11yr olds baseball game, thanks to the fine folks at gamechanger. The app of the millennium.

Thankfully travel ball szn is winding down. This year has kicked my *** like no other.
Indy 2x

Going to start slanging door dash just to help offset hotels or something.

No more parties in LA 😩

- Vivint door to door guys have descended on my neighbor like locusts, if the locusts were all ne'er-do-wells who park on the wrong side of the street in 2011 Malibus missing at least one hubcap and creep around houses like Dennis Rader. These MFs go to houses, knock, and when the inhabitants don't answer, leave...only to come back hours later. One of them knocked on my door (which we ignored, while watching him on the cameras) and watched him walk across the street and SIT ON A BENCH for an hour waiting for signs of life in this block of houses. These ******** have now used my doorbell, which is part of a Blink system, six times in a week. We answered once and told the guy we weren't interested, but another one showed up a couple days later. What's the play here?

a) janky cardboard "no soliciting" sign in the yard
b) racking a shotgun as I approach the front door, which is mostly glass
c) bitching about it on NextDoor/Henbook
d) continuing to hide in my house as if I'm not here every time they visit
e) all the above

- We're also getting handwritten letters from JWs. And we got a visit from the Mormons. I don't know what happened in the last four months to prompt all these folks to return to their door-to-door efforts but I hate it.

- NextDoor is mostly garbage, but I enjoy when the comments absolutely jump off. There's one absolutely on fire right now recapping someone's review of their meal at IHOP. They had many complaints, but chiefly, they ordered steak (not steak and eggs, just steak), medium rare.

They ordered medium rare steak...at the International House of Pancakes. In the year of our lord 2023.

- The kid who hit the Hammer likely wished for the sweet release of death, but it's the Hammer's underinsured carriers who really wish he would STFU. The guy's attempts to get coverage under multiple policies are impressive. Insane and possibly frivolous, but impressive.

Did Calipari just give a press conference where he answered questions, avoided ********, seemed to enjoy it, and was legitimately insightful? Consider me cautiously optimistic.

I gotta evaluate Adou. If he rebounds, he's got to be on the court!

Word.

Granted, we're down two 7 footers....but UGO isn't gonna be shooting mid range Js w/ any real volume or have any offense run through him.

😍

That’s the dribble drive ******* motion offense mother ******. Get down hill for layups or dump offs/lobs or skip pass for 3. Move the ****** ball and take the ****** open shot.

Encouraging at minimum. Exciting as hell with a talented team at most likely.

Yea Curb your Enthusiasm.
They looked like the dream team last year in the Bahamas as well.
Quoting Rowdy Burns, lets see what you do in a crowd!

With that said, I liked a lot of what I saw.

Hey, go f*** yourselves and your negativity. No one (other than krazy) thinks we are gonna be incredible but that was fun and Calipari wasn't an obnoxious ******* for once.

Twas a nice little amuse bouche in July.
Hey, go f*** yourselves and your positivity. Incredible or not, I have seen too much Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Calipari to get fooled again. With that said, I would love a full season of Dr. Jekyll.
But not gonna get fooled again.
Amirite?

Since I am an old and I still have cable, I was able to open the Xfinity Stream app on my phone and watch the game at work.

I obviously am no basketball and don’t have deep insights into what this team may be able to accomplish. It was just fun to see some good shots, blocks, assists and teamwork. It was just fun to see a win.

Go Cats!

Cal hasn't got his chance to sink his teeth into this group yet.

... and scheisser porn. (Do not google.)

I once accidentally saw something....one thing really bad in Japan and another thing very bad in Germany

The first one was kind of voluntary - dumb young GI's wanted to see something outrageous

The second one ambushed me while i was having a good time and wasn't expecting the Scat Singing Surprise that - emerged

I do hear ya, sir
Some things CANNOT be unseen
