-Short sleeve button ups for sure aren’t for a most situations. I wore them in Florida but you can get away with it there. Round here I go long sleeve rolled up or polo.

Slim/muscle fit for everything for this guy, obviously.

-PTI just throw on some white on clouds and some baggy khakis so everyone knows you’ve given up.

-They’ve tried REALLY hard to get bodybuilders to get the Jean shorts trendy again, NOPE, not happening.

-New gym gear always gives me a little pep in my step the next day at the gym.

Aware of the commercial, but have heard absolutely nothing ever since. Curious if that was BS or the new duds are actually in boxes at the JCFTC ready to go.

The best telltale that they are is in spring ball we were wearing our recent game pants, as is the lifecycle of football unis when being replaced.

Baseball post:

- There are a few things with which baseball fans tend to obsess themselves that are almost completely meaningless. These include but are not limited to the following: lineup construction and arbitrary endpoints (e.g. so-and-so is 1-for-his-last-17 or whatever). This has been statistically proven to the point that there is essentially no debate. The matter is settled.

- That said, EDLC is overperforming his expected metrics by a pretty whopping margin so far. Some of that is because of his speed, of course, which is elite and hard to account for. But he's running a 32.2% K rate and a 7.8% BB rate. Neither of those are great. And he had similar rates in the minors.

90 PAs at the MLB is not enough to make any reasonable conclusions. And he's only 21. At minimum, he's going to be a very exciting player for years to come. One thing is not debatable: when he gets ahold of it, he hits the ball extremely hard.

- The bigger concern for the Reds, IMO, is how taxed their bullpen is going to be by the end of the year. They have performed very well so far, but they've also pitched 45% of their total innings. They have 3 guys in the top 20 in MLB in appearances. Hopefully getting those starters back from the IL will help with that.

- I think the Cubs are going to win that division. They're the only team with a positive run differential and they've been a bit unlucky so far. They have a lineup that is almost as good as the Reds, IMO, and their pitching is better.

As a TBS fan*, I would love to be wrong. Makes me happy to see the Reds doing well.

*parents lived in Atlanta for a long time, so I inherited it from them.

Someone asked Mags about new uniforms last week and he said the SEC was planning a relaunch with the addition of Texas and Oklahoma and multiple schools could be introducing new uniforms for it next year.

He also acted completely oblivious to the fact that there are new uniforms already that that have been teased so who knows?

The quality of almost all chain pizza places has dropped off a cliff in the last five-ish years. I'd argue that Little Caesar is the current best big chain and that's probably because their mediocre quality has remained the same while everyone else has gotten much, much worse.

Donato's and Jet's are the only decent chain delivery options available at current, imo.

* HEY MAYBE STOP ENGAGING WITH UKO. ALL HE WANTS IS ATTENTION AND YOU ALL ARE FEEDING THE TROLL.

Had a Beast from Snappy Tomato last night that was terrific.

Ordered 10 Papa Johns Pizzas for my kids' birthday party this past Saturday. They all enjoyed it and it's only $1 more a pizza than Little Caesar's.

I ordered a BBQ Chicken and Bacon pizza for myself, it's the best pizza you can get from PJ, Pizza Hut, Domino's, Caesars.

-Damn I jealous @WayneDougan , want to toss one of your kids out and pick me up? Or grab one more?

-Almost all of my trainers were in their 20s and when I told them that about Larry & the flag they were like BS no way people did that in the 2000s.

I laughed and was like you guys are cute.

Only went to Redmon's a handful of times. One of the few I was underage and an ABC cop spotted me from across the crowd and it was a foot race to the door. Somehow I made it out of there before he could get me... ran around the corner but assumed he didn't give chase once I was out of there.

Or this was a manic episode of paranoia from a schwag bong rip. We'll never know.

PTI made me go to Redmonds every time we hung out.

Listen to Junkyard Willie, talk about what we wanted to put on the Extravaganza tailgate banner and hit up Redmonds.

😂 In an empty Commonwealth parking lot in 2004 leaning on PTI’s 1997 S10 drinking Miller Lite watching AP.com being interviewed by the Big Blue Radio Network talking about the thrill, the pagentry of Kentucky football.

Don’t forget the janky sign with the schedule facing Nicholasville Rd. Catching a glimpse of that leaving town was just a swift kick in the nuts that there was more than likely more pain to endure. It’s as if
that sign spoke…

-paid for a haircut/beard trim for the first time in quite a while. Apparently many barber's are appointment only now...they even have an app.

^thankfully they "fit me in". Nice place...did a good job. Gonna actually start "looking after" my beard. Will be glorious come football season.*

*apologies to all the low-t/beard averse folks. Again...I have a beard because I am neither a woman nor a child.

-there is a massive gap in the market for "first world made" athletic/tech/outdoor gear...is what it is.

^in that light:

https://www.outdoorresearch.com/us/

Is having a helluva sale currently. Picked up a 1/4" zip fleece, anorak and a packable rain jacket for around a hundred bucks.

^not super well known, but their stuff is legit.

Went searching for am old banner pic and couldn't find one, but did come across this gem from an epic night.

Your daughter and Rogue will get first dibs... lol
-How old is this daughter? I kid I kid. I would love to snag one though for sure, bring the pain Wayne.

-Weird how I didn’t know any of you when that pic was taken but now I can name almost everyone in that pic and have hung out with most of them.

Also, that is a DOPE TV in the background.

-Rudd yeah almost everywhere now is appt through app. You can still call and they’ll take care of you and most do websites too.

Being a full on man like Rudd I too have a beard as I am not a woman or child. The look after a nice trim and straight razor is tip top.

I will say the barbers here are some softies as I’ve tried four places and none will straight razor the front of your next. Last dude used like a norelco three headed electric shaver…. Uh no, I didn’t come here to get worse than I can do at home.

In KW, those Cubans are flipping amazing at hair and beards. They’ll straight razor everything precisely. These dudes are timid as hell.
