Last two draft picks being Jackson-Davis to Phoenix and Chris Livingston to Milwaukee are both perfect fits for those kids.

Phoenix having no depth will get quality minutes out TJD, and Milwaukee has no wings if they don’t get Middleton back do with so pressure at all as the last pick, Livingston could produce there.

-Put this on IG this morning but if you had to every day would you rather get up before the daylight or go to bed before it’s dark?

I’ll take the morning all day.

-Overnight oats make for a heckuva dessert as well as breakfast and so easy.
Steel cut oats
Milk
Yogurt
Honey
PB
Chia seeds

-Early morning hammy hitter at the gym this morning.

-Tearing out shower, vanity and toilet today… 😬

-Oscar coming back since no draft? KSR said they thought the Celts told him they’d grab him. If true, that trade for Porzingis really screwed him.

Good for Livingston, hope he turns this shot into a good solid career.

Cal is clearly in the “you’re almost too old to talk” stage of his life. He’s embarrassing, and I feel bad for sweet lil Ellen. It’s a bit sad.

- Can’t believe that douchebag Rich Paul, more or less Turtle from Entourage, really had Livingston in attendance. Poor kid.

- Rest assured that not getting drafted is all part of Jesus’s plan for Oscar. So chill.

- I’m pretty excited about Reeves and even the prospect of Mitchell … until I think back to how excited I was about … Sarr, Tshiebwe return, Fredrick, Boston, etc. Prove It Time is long past.

- I’d easily go Scoot but Miller is still a fine pick at 2.

- No boss I don’t need a F’ing two hour meeting on resiliency. What I need is less meetings and time to execute.

- Currently suffering through the indignity of a summer cold.

- Scarlett Jo in Iron Man 2 👀 An all-time baddie.

- Man this pivot to higher end tequila has really changed the trajectory of my summer. Thanks, GYERO.

Fan of Don Julio.
Draft went as expected to most on the thread which makes it all the more disappointing about the upcoming roster construction. But, hopes and dreams man.

- It's not that hard, ESPN. Greenberg (as much as I don't care for his shows, he's solid as an NBA studio host) in the host chair. JJ Redick (who I thought was really good) and Doris handle the NBA angle. Bilas handles the college angle. Lisa Salters handles the interviews afterwards. Fraschilla chimes in on internationals. Woj on the bombs. Boom. Profit.

There wasn't a single thing gained by shoehorning Malika Andrews and Andraya Carter into the coverage last night. What audience was gained by putting Malika Andrews in the host spot? She's literally a sideline reporter all season. Andraya Carter doesn't even work on their normal NBA coverage. Why in the world is she on there at all? I get that you can't use Candace Parker because it's during the WNBA season(and because she's with the NBA Network), but if you want to use women, great. Use Doris and Salters. They're experienced and know their stuff.

Quit the patronizing. Be the standard for this stuff that you used to be.

- Watched that LSU/Wake instant classic with my oldest last night. Wake may have been the top seed, but LSU was the favorite, and had studs all over the field. What a game. It stung my kid to see Wake lose, and she hasn't even taken her first class yet. But it was a great experience sharing this with her.

- With such a predictable draft, hard to really distinguish "losers", per se, but I am scratching my head at what the Magic and Wizards did. Think every other team did at least reasonably well for themselves.

I picked up a Liquor Barn store pick of some anejo (brand escapes me). $50. Aged in Weller barrels. 80 proof. Perfect to sip with a tiny cube and maybe a lime peel.

Will likely pick up some Casamigos blanco and a mezcal option as well.

Clase Azul or 1942 is fine sipping tequila you’d enjoy, Anth. Smokey but not as much as Scotch. Shades of bourbon-like taste so you’re not out of your depth. Super smooth.

Bonus if you can find the Mezcal bottle.

Yeah, the last pick in the draft typically is known to be a big producer.

If anyone is concerned about Boat he’s doing just fine. Woke up to a message on IG that I was “Leaving a lot of gay porn money on the table with my IG stories.” So he’s as right as rain.
Some updates on the doctor of osteopathic medicine...

He's sold the Porsche in favor of a Vette, and is also considering a sale of his boat.

Maybe you didn’t watch Miami this year with four or five major contributors being undrafted.

The idea is for Livingston coming in and currently honestly only being behind Grayson Allen and Pat Connaughton on a team that was the #1 seed in the East last year. In that scenario with no pressure being the last pick in the draft I can see him earning playing time.

Not sure why that is so outlandish.

Oh, you are comparing a 19 year old kid late second round pick to a bunch of 27 year old grown men? I didn’t realize that’s what you were saying. My bad.

Just further proof that kids ruin everything

Speaking of kids my daughter has taken a liking to freshly cut mango, so I’ve been making that for her pretty regularly and do have to say a ripe one is quite delicious, if not a major pain in the *** to cut

Speaking of pain in the *** we are listing our house this coming Friday and it’s been such a joy getting ready with 3 kids. Repainted most of the house last week - my kids today have already ruined one of the walls - throwing away the insane amount of **** toys we’ve collected. Making everything soulless and barren. Currently taking a break from taking down all the blinds in the house. We also had a psychotic bird that pecked out a lot of our screens so a lot of our house has screen less, blind-less windows. Meaning a serial killer can see everything going on our house. I feel like a character in an unrealistic horror movie.

Speaking of horror movie my builder has assured us we should be able to move in August and lmao does that not look realistic at all. There is so much left to do it’s hilariously depressing. I’m so over this ****

Speaking of **** between 3 kids, running 2 businesses, building a house, selling a house, possibly selling another business, I’ve been so incredibly stressed out that I’ve just been getting absolutely TRASHED every weekend. Like wake up with no clue what happened the night before (and I’m not usually a big drinker). This has been going on for like 3 months. Woke up this morning to my kids waking me up to watch bluey and my 4 year old asked me what the sculpture was beside my bed. Apparently I decided to pack and smoke a bowl and just had a bunch of weed and accessories sitting on the night stand. Father of the year!
