People need purpose in their lives. That doesn't have to be Jesus for everyone.

It actually does. True happiness can only be achieved thru Jesus Christ. You can lie to me and everyone else on here but you know you’re not happy right now without him.

I'm unhappy cause it's Monday. :)

I have 96 hours, 7 12’s, staring at me starting at 8am in the morning and the peace I feel within me is unmatched.

I use to hate Mondays too. I use to hate you, me and everyone else as well.

I was literally incapable to love anything until one night in 2007 at a little Eastern Ky church service and I got saved. Ain’t been the same little man since, praise God.

So no one was happy before Jesus was born? Seems like a stretch.

I'm a Christian as well and I understand your view point.

HOWEVER.... most people do not like to be preached at. Spreading the gospel to me is by doing good in your life and respecting others and yes share your testimony when the time comes.

But on a message board likely not the right avenue.

I will share the gospel on the White House lawn, if given the chance! Might be the only Jesus some people get to hear. 😊

This thread could.mabe help someone. Be nice to get back on track, but I gotta say,
Ukalum88 I appreciate that you've been saved and love Jesus, sounds like you needed him too.......but to suggest everyone in the world who isn't a Christian can't be happy is absurd and now you're sounding arrogant to be honest. BTW I am a Christian and believe in Jesus. So........don't be so blind, it's dangerous

Arrogant? I consider myself the very least of any of you. And sounds like I needed him?? You are absolutely correct, needed him more than my next breath.

True happiness can not be achieved without a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Show me someone who isn’t a Christian and I’ll show you someone that uses some kind of sin in attempt to fill the void only Jesus can.

I drink a couple of craft beers 1-2 days per week. Alcohol, in any form, is linked to increases in cancer, etc etc. It’s a slow and silent destroyer of many folk’s heart, tongue, liver, etc. Even a couple of beers each day could catch up to you in your early 60s. Not judging at all. Really enjoy drinking from time to time.

Everyone knows alcohol is poison. It’s just become way too socially acceptable to have a beverage everywhere, at almost all hours, etc.

I don’t know if our drinking culture is as bad as it was 50 years ago..but it’s gotta be close.

I don’t think people who have not had an alcoholic parent can understand what a child goes through . research shows most kids feel guilty ( dad or mom drink because I was bad) and it affects them the rest of their life in many many negative ways .

My daughter was in this car LAST NIGHT in the DC suburbs that was hit head on by a drunk driver. She and her boyfriend are fine, thank goodness. Other driver hauled away by ambulance, and I don't care how he is.

Alcoholism is tragic all right -- for the innocent people killed and maimed by drunk drivers. I'm no holy roller. Drink yourself into a stupor. But do it at home, or call an Uber.

So happy they are safe
