After the Nugs dispatch Lebron in the WCFs I think James hangs it up.
He came back this yr for Kareem’s scoring record.
He got it and he’s going to get broomed out of the playoffs.
Hes done.
He ain't going nowhere til he plays with his son in the NBA. Hell I've heard him say he wants to play with the younger one too.

Seems delusional considering Brony isn't OAD. Hell, he probably needs 2-3 years before he makes an NBA roster unless daddy pulls something. If he's even good enough to make it.

The lakers would sign him as an in drafted fa then. Lebron would give the league minimum up for his kid. Player coach is in lebron s future with his kids

Lebron knows he's not the best player on the court today.
At times he looks like a Tank in NASCAR race.

But the Lakers would not be in the playoffs without him.
I hope he plays on. I bet our guy Anthony Davis does too.

The Lakers have a pretty good 2-3 years ahead of them with the great trades they made…that always is part of lebron decision after a few years with a team

- Reeves and Hachimura…restricted free agents and the Lakers likely to match any offer These two are young and guys lebron needs around him. Two forwards that csn space the floor and shoot are a premium…and Lakers have two of them and young

- Then you have Lebron and AD

- The question mark is guards…Russell is unrestricted free agent as is Shroeder. Lakers are a big and slower team upfront so they need quicks and defense perimeter

- Darvin Ham is a really good young coach imo

So I say Lebron stays in LA. Their future is really on if AD csn play 50 games….history argues as he ages he’ll be less likely to stay on the court

Lebron is still playing at a high level. Obviously prolly not a top 15-20 player anymore but still 20-40 range.

They have a deep team but still need one more piece to win the west. Kyrie, as much as I hate to see him with AD, will join them next year

Don't be surprised if Daddy buys a team.

He's not leaving until he gets to play with his son

OR

He has some sort of injury happen and he can never get medically cleared to play, thus forcing himself to retire

Bronny could go undrafted and the vast majority of teams in the NBA would sign him as an undrafted free agent just so they can get LeBron.

LeBron is not nearly what he used to be, but he is still a very good player - averaged 29, 8, and 7 while shooting 50% this year. Meanwhile his career averages are 27, 8, and 7 in 50.5% shooting.

But his durability since going to LA has taken a big hit, only playing in at least 80% of games in one season, which was the first shortened pandemic season in which he played 67 of 71 games. Every other year he has been at below 70%.

Give him another All-Star or two to carry the team when he is out along with a decent supporting cast and that's good enough to get them to the playoffs. And at that point, as this season has shown, who knows what can happen. Series upsets all over the place based on the seeding, including the Lakers having two of those upsets.

I bet a team like the Knicks would kill to add another star like LeBron after how poorly everyone not named Jalen Brunson played in the playoffs.

The marketing of landing that duo would be epic.

Someone's likely taking Bronny in the top 20 based on that fact alone. He might even go lottery because of that.

LeBron sticks it out until LA drafts Bronny in the first round in a year. Then they'll play together for a season. After that, LeBron hangs it up.
I agree and that is why Bronny stayed out west but I agree with many that it make take Bronny 2-3 years to go into the NBA.

This will give him more time to go out and protest with BLM.

Lebron just signed a 2 year contract worth 97 Million.... unfortunately my Lakers are going to be stuck with him.

We are now getting into the farewell tour part of the contract... they may make the playoffs but without serious re-tooling they will be a 1st or 2nd round exit moving forward.

I think Lebron plays 2-3 more years. Still playing at a high level and looks like he’s having fun. Confidence is still there and besides the foot he’s still healthy. AD and Lebron are gonna lead the lakers to another championship before it’s over for him

Dumb prediction, and why? Because Denver is clearly just the better team between the two? He averaged 29 ppg this season and is still one of the best in the game, he's just not far and away the best any longer. He'll probably play until he's 40 or 41 and will still be averaging well over 20 a game when he decides to hang it up.

I look forward to the haters pretending he's overrated once he decides to retire though.

He's STILL a physical specimen at his age but the endurance has clearly started to diminish. He's got no gas left in the tank and it shows. He's got a couple playing years left in him but I think his chances of winning another ring are down to 0 after this season.

Lebrun and Cal are very very similar in the aspect of knowing when to hang it up. Both were the best in the game at one point. Now? Not so much.

James is nowhere close to done. He’s still making all nba teams at 38. My guess is he plays until he catches Jordan in rings, and he probably wouldn’t mind if he did that as the second or third option. Plus he makes too much money to even think about hanging them up anytime soon

Lol if Cal was coaching like Lebron played this season this fan base would be satisfied.

Cal is more like Chris Paul and even that is probably a bad comparison right now . Off the top of my head I couldn’t think if someone clearly washed

Showoff? Maybe. Lots of sports figures enjoy showing off their talent and skills. Loud mouth? I dunno. I don't really listen to athletes in general. It's pretty easy to not listen to LeBron, Brady, or any other athlete you may dislike. You sound pretty wound-up, especially with your first post in the thread which simply said "LeBron sucks." Edgar Allan Poe would be envious of your way with the English language.
