Final 4 Thread

[TortElvisII]

Owls not going away this whole tourney. Of course the rooferee misses the hit on the elbow.

Yeah they deserved three free throws.

[UKnCincy_rivals]

Fla Atlantic has some fearless scorers

I think the more impressive thing is that they’ve gotten points from 9 different players.

Most of SDSU’s points are from just 2 guys.

[ScottGreene22]

FAU looks great can they keep making shots at this clip doubtful

[HenryMuto]

Lost power for the 2nd straight Saturday last time I missed both games and did not come back on till Sunday Noon and I had to listen to the final 11 mins of the FAU game in my car.
So today goes out again around 3 PM I drive to my brothers to watch the game and right before tip off I am told power is back on so I came home.
Unreal

If we get an all-South Florida final game, Will anybody care?

I don’t even think people in the boca raton and Miami area would care.

[TortElvisII]

I was listening to Westwood One earlier and they said they were going to come back with the guy who sent San Diego State to the final four. I expected referee Lee Cassell.

[DaDirtyLeb69]

This is something the college game and the tv compainies need to fix. If a team calls a timeout close to the under four, eight, twelve, or sixteen timeout just make it the under timout instead of having two long *** commercial breaks in the short timeframe

Lucky bastard Nantz gets to do the Final 4 and title games every year then goes straight to Augusta to announce the Masters.

Next year we get Ian eagle

[jameslee32]

Buh bye Nance. Don't let the door hit ya on the way out.

[DaDirtyLeb69]

FAU will probably return this whole team back next year which is scary

FAU will probably return this whole team back next year which is scary

Will they return their coach though??

[HenryMuto]

FA could been up double digits was u 10 with a FT missed it then give up a 3 to cut it to 7 then they missed again.

Glad they are up 7 but would have liked to have been up more.

[jameslee32]

Owls up 7 at half with a good shot to get to the finals. Crazy!

[ukcatz12]

Will they return their coach though??

Yes I believe he's already either signed or agreed to an extension.

[ScottGreene22]

Their Coach a ball boy for Bobby Knight even with the extension will be a hot commodity

[true-blue1]

Miami will

I hope they do!

[ukcatz12]

Good game so far. At first I thought "wow this FAU coach would be great to replace Cal" but then I changed my mind thinking the SDSU coach would be a better replacement. Then it flip flopped a bit, but now I'm definitely thinking FAU coach is the guy we should get to replace Cal.

I don’t even think people in the boca raton and Miami area would care.

Believe me, we care!

[wccat]

Mitch should hit Print on that new contract for Dusty May. LOL

Rupp Arena PA announcer ‘and the head coach of the Kentucky Wildcats… Duuuuuusttyyyyy Maaaaay!!!’

[ManitouDan_anon]

If we get an all-South Florida final game, Will anybody care?

I care and would cherish it .. be good with me .. no west coast ... no Uconn ... sounds good

[TortElvisII]

Jeff Anderson is calling the Connecticut game and he has a history with Danny Hurley.

He is a high stepping referee.

[Crawfords Corner]

Rebounding is even. FAU is +2 from the ftl and +3 from 3. If they can keep that rebounding close to even they can win this game. If SDSU comes out and can seize the boards I believe theyll win.

[DaDirtyLeb69]

Will they return their coach though??

Good question, but if he does they will be a problem again

[ScottGreene22]

Refreshing seeing FAU with all 9 players that played scored but not one in double figures. They are hard to prepare for with so many guys that can score

[HenryMuto]

Will they return their coach though??

He already signed an extension and has said he will be back. They have only 1 senior Forrest.

[HenryMuto]

Amazing ball movement to get wide open 3s wish we could ran stuff like that.

[HenryMuto]

Make ur FT's !!!!!!!!

[Bigtyrone]

I don't think they could hear each other.

Yeah. I doubt it was their fault. Poor planning.

[HenryMuto]

The blow by !

[ScottGreene22]

If Dusty May were to win the title with FAU, would KY be in the mix for him after next season if he makes another deep run and CAL leaves?

[DaDirtyLeb69]

If he does that, some other school with get him before that

We see this all the time a team makes a big run as a low seed and then the next year bring a lot back to get a high seed and lose in the 1st or 2nd round.

Wichita State final 4 as a 9 seed in 2013 then in 2014 we all know what happened as a 1 seed.
Princeton was a 5 seed one year went down in 2nd round
Creighton a few times back when they were mid major had a low seed went to sweet 16 then high seed lost in 1st round.
Some others too just seems like FAU might end up as a 5 seed next year and lose in 1st round.

[HenryMuto]

2 shots and ball for FAU LETS GO

[HenryMuto]

3 more FT's chance to lead by 14 ! LETS GO!

[HenryMuto]

5/5 from the line up 14 LETS GO !

[TortElvisII]

5. Free throws and five points.

Hey, we would have made two.

Although if that would have been reeves that got elbowed, he would have been called for hitting the elbow with his body.

[ukydood]

Really enjoying watching FAU play.

[jameslee32]

Owls are quicker and run their stuff better right now.

[HenryMuto]

Martin back to the line where he just hit 5 in a row chance to get it back to 14
