Would actually like to see Toppin return.

With Edwards being a long athletic SF, Toppin the same at PF and Bradshaw the rim protector that is badly needed it would be the type of lineup that Calipari is better with. All are decent shooters (not great my any means) and can stretch the floor somewhat plus Toppin and Edwards can both push the ball up the court off the dribble. I don't know who might be better with Edwards and Bradshaw except maybe Livingston but I'm thinking he's probably gone.

I agree though JT made some horrific passes in that last game along with deplorable shot selection. He’s much better than he was a year ago, though he was very flippant in a game that determined the end of the season. He shied away from the physicality of the game, that’s why their coach said he had more dudes.

I would rather have Chris come back and play the 4 but sounds like he doesn't want to play that position.

No they don't all need to leave. But, Toppin can go. He could be great for a half, in one game, and then be awful in the other half, other game, etc. However, if Cal plays favorites rather than use the bench and develop the talent, I just think we are in for much of the same next season.

I am intrigued about him having an offseason and the confidence going into next year. He did make some big improvements late in the season.. and maybe the attitude is better early next year, if we were winning, as opposed to looking like crap.

But that attitude is still a worry of mine. And I think he's finding any way he can to go to the NBA. Even if it's undrafted and a two-way contract.

Toppin always seemed like he wasn't 'there' most of the time. Why would any basketball player NOT want to play physical? Think any of the guys from Tubby and going back in time would have put up with that? I don't think so!

Personally I wouldn't mind having Toppin back... think he made some great strides the last 10 or so games.

However if you guys don't want any of the players back off this team I wouldn't argue with you.

My position with UK is someone that has two degrees from UK and has been cheering for them since the second World War. I have had season tickets for both football and basketball off and on since the 60s. I think I can offer an opinion that someone questioning a good kid's heart when he played hard all the time, but had sporadic success is wrong. Move along if you don't like that opinion. The sophomoric jokes about him wearing a bra are easy to make behind a keyboard, but I guarantee his heart would wear you out if you ever questioned his heart to his face.

I'm not far from taking my teeth out and going to bed, but phonix (phonics) depending on where you grew up is where you were taught grammar, spelling and punctuation.

Cal does not want a deep bench.

Too much pressure. Always gives him an excuse for losing when starters wear down and get injured at the end of the year.

The point is……..our bench was not deep. In the providence game the bench scored 0 points. Therefore we are in no position to be turning away any proven players simply because we are tired of them or we think they remind us of keion brooks. Any rational Kentucky fan should be happy for toppin to return. You wanna go in 100
Percent on freshman next year and tell a kid like toppin “no thanks”?

Also, I made no mention of cal at all. Your entire post made zero sense once you tagged my post.
