There are a couple guys who must go, a couple that should stay but won't and those who will stay for next season.
Who are they?

I think Livingston and Reeves need to come back for another year. Neither are ready for the NBA and can probably make good money by staying.

Onyenso 90%
Theiro 80%
Livingston 70%
Ware 60% (Collins decision probably changes Ware's 10% either direction)
Reeves 50% (I would say 60%, but think there is chance Cal encourages him to go)
Collins 50%
Fredrick 30%
Oscar 10%
Toppin 10%
Wallace <1%
Wheeler <1%

I’ll say:
Pro: Cason, Jacob, Oscar
Done with basketball: Fredrick
Transfer Out: Wheeler and Daimion. DC goes back home down a level in comp
Returners: Chris, Reeves, Adou, Ugo, Ware

Total guesses on my part!
That would be my hope, too. Livingston could be a bit of a wildcard, I’m sure he’ll test the waters.

Adou and Ugonna should come back, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they have people in their ear trying to get them to transfer.

I would say this is your best case.

In all honesty I don't care. With cal as coach team has no shot. We aren't gonna have much beef next season. Maybe u go small, idk.

Why would Dillingham not come because of Reeves? He has known that Reeves had a possible 2 years from the beginning. Why would he wait until now to find another school?
Because Dillingham has a lot of different people in his ear and doesn’t have the intention of playing 20 mpg,

Reeves isn’t coming back to play 20 mpg and that’s mainly what will be available, so something has to give.

But he’s known about Reeves for over a year. Do you have inside info or are you just guessing?

Reeves comes back and Dillingham never comes because of it.
Fine. I’ll take Reeves at 6-5 with his experience and shotmaking abilities(last game notwithstanding) for one year over Dillingham at 6-1 for one year, especially with Wagner comng.

But I want both and they shouldn’t be mutually exclusive

Agree, and Dillingham is straight point guard. Reeves is an emergency pg.

Fredrick, ugonna, theiro, and ware will return. Reeves likely, Livingston depending on what he hears thru draft process and NIL. Theiro is cal’s buddy’s son. Ware used to play with DJ.

Just a guess:

Gone for certain: Oscar, Wallace, Wheeler, Frederick
Likely gone: Collins, Toppin
50/50: Reeves, Livingston
60/40 stay: Ware
Likely to stay: Ugo, Thiero,

Here’s the thing it absolutely does not matter if one of the people coming back is Cal. Same coach same results.

I just don’t get it. So many of these guys would be best served to stay another year. Most of these guys aren’t ready and haven’t even shown the flashes of potential that get scouts excited.

I get it when a guy has potential (Wallace). But Toppin and Livingston haven’t shown that. Think those guys could dominate with one more season.

Really hope Reeves and Livingston return. Holding out little hope for Oscar returning.

Collins for sure transfers.

Think Ugo, Ware and Theiro stay for sure.

Oscar wouldn’t fit with next seasons team, plus supposedly him and Cal had a falling out this year and it wasn’t good for the team. Wheeler I’m pretty sure has no more eligibility so he’s done. Jacob is more than likely gone but would be huge if he came back.
We don’t want any puss… to return to the team, thanks. I’m referring to Jacob by the way

Imo Wallace is gone.
Thiero and Collins transfer.
The rest too many possibilities.
I'd love to have all of them back, but we all know that isn't going to happen.

Give me Ugonna, adou, reeves, & Livingston and Get some portal guys
- Wallace, toppin, and one of Collins/ware I feel like are gone
- Oscar I fell like is gone but if he wants to come back then he’ll yeah come back
- really excited to see Ugonna develop and adou as well
- Livingston working on catch and shoot 3s and his handle will improve his game so much
- reeves obviously needs to be back for shooting and his fit in next years team is crucial

I would love to see Livingston come back because he out played Reeves and Toppin in the game that counted K State,,,

Lots of possibilities, but I think unlikely Cal would do that. I’m not saying I think certain ones are true, but all are possible:
- Reeves a locker room negative
- his bad defense
- thinks he will make an NBA team as 2nd rnd pick or UFA
- thinks he can make more overseas
- promised too much PT to incoming class
- thinks has a better portal replacement
- doesn’t think Reeves will accept going down to 15-22mpg
