They should have been in (over Mississippi State), UT should NOT have been a 4 seed, and A&M should be a 4-6 seed.
UK lost to that trash team twice in 10 days. I’d say it says more about UK than Vandy.
Vandy didn’t deserve to get in. They play to SEC officiating. They can’t take that with them.

Vandy stepped up and played put of their *** last month of season. It was just too late. NIT for Vandy. They are a tournament caliber team right now. But, too late, dug too big of a whole.

A&M had a atrocious out of conference schedule and a bad SOS overall. And two quad 4 losses. But I agree they are under seeded. Vandy probably gets in if Robbins doesn't get hurt. The committee chair stated that injuries played a great part this year in seeding.
Cal let off the gas to get Vandy in the tournament, since we were a lock. Professional courtesy .

Used to be the standard was keeping your job for at least beating Kentucky during the regular season for SEC teams. Maybe it's changed some, but it still holds a lot of weight when renegotiation / contract time comes up for discussion.

... so, you don't like Stackhouse, I can see how he would get under some people's skin but bottom line is that he's a competitor and won't back down and shouldn't.
Vandy should get in based on a late season run, forget the Net or whatever full season metric is used. There needs to be a common sense metric where you take into account the streak a team might be on and how they have come together.

Vandy found out that takes more than beating Kentucky to make the NCAA tournament. You have to bring it every game, not just against Kentucky.
The committee was looking for quality wins.
They were terrible for the first 22 games of the year. Can't ignore 2/3 of the season.
Wonder if Vandy would have been better off beating us just the one time in the SEC tournament? Any chance beating us twice may have tanked their tourny invite?
