Vandy stepped up and played put of their *** last month of season. It was just too late. NIT for Vandy. They are a tournament caliber team right now. But, too late, dug too big of a whole.

Never understood that. I hate Vandy, but they are playing better than that 4 seed UT team. How is A&M a 7 seed? Those NCAA folks never fail to shock the hell out of me.
A&M had a atrocious out of conference schedule and a bad SOS overall. And two quad 4 losses. But I agree they are under seeded. Vandy probably gets in if Robbins doesn't get hurt. The committee chair stated that injuries played a great part this year in seeding.

well, at least Stackhouse has some job security for beating Kentucky twice in a season.

Used to be the standard was keeping your job for at least beating Kentucky during the regular season for SEC teams. Maybe it's changed some, but it still holds a lot of weight when renegotiation / contract time comes up for discussion.

And he is co-coach of the year? 2 wins over us but Miss State gets in instead. Somebody didn't pay off the committee. Honestly, after 2 losses to Vandy, UK is lucky to be in the field. A 6 seed is a gift.
Yeah, disregard our wins over UT, Ark and A&M. Focus on vandy playing to SEC officials.

Also disregard we kicked their asses at Vandy.

Cal got outcoached 11 times this season. But he outcoached the other guy 21 times.

Isn’t that how it works?

Cal has outcoached the other coach over 800 times in his career. Remarkable!!

I don't think they considered any tourn. wins. They may not tell us but evidence over years point to that.

Vandy should get in based on a late season run, forget the Net or whatever full season metric is used. There needs to be a common sense metric where you take into account the streak a team might be on and how they have come together.
I didn't really care for Stackhouse until I saw his presser with the player "Wright" that he recruited. He teared up and revealed that he is a real man, not just a Cro-Magnon as he appears.

Vandy found out that takes more than beating Kentucky to make the NCAA tournament. You have to bring it every game, not just against Kentucky.
