Yeah, but the fans were right with most everything we said this year and we were right in 2021 and we were right about the Shaedon Sharpe situation and we're right that draft night isn't the greatest night in UK history and we're right to say this team damn sure shouldn't have 10 losses right now, 4 of which were at home.
It's not like Cal is being critisized for things that aren't true.
He didn't fill all 13 scholarshios, so again, injuries have neutered us.
We were right about the Bennie lineup, he mocked us, but we were right.
We were right about not playing Wheeler 35mpg.
We were right about not playing Collins to get him over the loss of his dad.
We were right about getting Adou and Ugo more time to get them up to speed.
We were also right about playing different zone defenses to prevent dribble penetration, easy buckets and foul trouble.
Tell me where the fans were wrong.
Are we just supposed to sit quietly and watch the incompetence and let him just coast like Denny Crum did for 20 years?
UK is great because the fans, we support the program no matter where they play, but you can't just turn that passion off when a coach is driving the program into the ground.
But you all weren't right at all. The arguments just changed so you appeared correct.
There's been like 4 or 5 different benny lineups. They changed based on who was performing well for the week.
What were you right about in 2021?
Who was he going to fill out the scholarships with that would be worth a damn? Give us some names.
How were you right about Wheeler not playing 35mpg? When was he ever wanted to play 35mpg?
How were you right about Adou and Ugonna? You all didn't even want Adou when he was recruited and thought he was just a favor to his dad. Then, when he was given minutes in Bahamas and the scrimmages, you all fell in love. When we faced real competition, he didn't look so good. Now he is forced into more minutes because of injuries and he still looks lost. He was averaging like 10mpg before the injuries, so it's not like he wasn't getting chances. Ugonna looked lost to start and still looks lost. He is unplayable at this point. Not sure what you could possibly conclude you were right about there.
We played zone for a portion of 1 game against a team who is reeling and played like garbage, never exploiting the fact we didn't even have a pg. What does that prove?
You are going to have to show me where you were right before I can show you how that was wrong.
Who has asked you to accept these things? No one is forcing you to accept anything.
Who asked you to turn your passion off? It would just be nice if you could turn your brains on while having that passion on.
