Moving Screens Are A Real Problem

We need a significant focus on cleaning up and calling moving screens in college basketball. I see it game after game. With the amount of ball screens and off ball screens in the game today refs really need to do better job.

The grabbing, holding, and shoving on and off the ball has reached new heights.

Tennessee does it all game long with no call! We even slightly move on a screen and there’s a whistle. Oh they’ll most definitely call them on the Cats. I’ve seen it too many times. They’ve hated us for years!

This was killing me. A lot of them weren’t just leaning either, many were shuffling their feet and never getting a call. In a closer game those thing would absolutely affect the outcome.

That 7 footer sets nothing but moving screens! It’s unbelievable. Can’t ever remember his name. I’m just gonna refer to him as Big Stupid ****!

They stopped calling that in the NBA 10 years ago and it trickled down to the NCAAs.

This was one of the worst officiated games I've seen in recent memory. It started off with calling touch fouls beyond 3pt line that had zero affect on the play. While letting guys hammer each other under the basket without a call. Then they completely changed the way they called the game in the second half.

Especially egregious call outs were the sideline out of bounds they called off of us but was clearly off orange. And that last out of bounds off Vescovi that anyone could clearly see and the ref with the absolutely best view of it calls it out on blue with an emphatic arm swing.

We do that and get called for the foul.

Guys stick their butts out when going by them. They just don’t call them much for that but they should!!

Florida won back to back titles using them and it just went from there. It's a major issue and seems like it only gets worse

Agree totally. Horribly officiated game. It’s frightening how bad the officiating is in college ball.
