By time they get the rebound make a pass rush to get it the ball up the game is over. If they can make a full court or near half court shot they can have the game. Basketball gods made their decision. Better they have to make a decision with 3 seconds ticking than it stopped.

By contrast Mississippi State, coached by someone I've never heard of, seemed poised down the stretch. Knew to go at Oscar every time down the floor for easy baskets. Made free throws. Only mistakes were the one kid fouling out on a breakaway and the kid making the free throw when he needed to miss.

This is a big part of the team's problem. As a 78 yr old retired teacher I can tell you there is a time to teach. Then, there is a time to watch your students perform.

Not being able to get a shot off from an inbounds play is unexceptable. At one point we had 3 tries and nothing. Other teams can score at will on inbounds plays against us (Usually with a dunk). Cal is not a Coach he is a recruiter and developer (Glorified AAU). I want a coach!! Basic fundamentals would be a good place to start.
