Stop being weird. There isn’t a “my kind.” The season isn’t over. I’m wondering how we’ll finish.
Ok to be blunt, it annoys me that you’re still interested in how this season is going to play out. Of course it’s a message board and you can post as you see fit, but I had to chuckle at how tone def your title was. You’re really still interested in this season? Like to bottle neck much?

If we are down by 25 at State at halftime this week, will you post a halftime thread about 3 possibilities alluding to how the game will turn out? That’s what your post is like.

Move on, see the big picture, and let’s try and figure out what common fans like us can do to help get rid of Cal.

I posted another thread about Cal. I’m capable of juggling multiple thoughts in my head.

I watched this team play pretty well over a 4 game stretch. As a fan, I would prefer seeing that again, instead of a train wreck.

Doesn’t mean I’m happy with Cal or even want him to remain our coach.

This might be a classic example of if you’re annoyed by a discussion of basketball on a basketball board, just sit this one out.

Fair enough. It was mostly the ambiguous title that fooled me. I don’t have the patience for this team any more but obviously you do.

Its a shame the " Kentucky affect". still shows up on teams that beat us , then suck *** their next game , and we are really not typical Kentucky anymore .

and Vegas is wrong on occasion , me a guy that gambles some were discussing yesterdays game , I ask if he knew the line , I said Ky minus 1 or 2, he said that sounds about right , maybe 3 .. and he googles it .. MINUS 7 .. Ha freaking Ha , we couldn't beat any SEC school on their home floor at this point . Terrible line for the game
Kentucky coming off a loss in a must win game against "lesser" competition. People were loading up on the Cats to win because that's what they expected them to do.

I loathe the “ injury “ excuse “ but we prob don’t lose that game it’s CJ or Wheeler available
After going up 4, there was a 10 minute 30 second stretch yesterday where we scored 6 points.

Hard to believe having another guard available wouldn’t have helped that part at least, but we also suffered from Wallace all of the sudden being unassertive.

I figure his back was acting up, but who knows. He had to be good for 15-20 in a game like that.

This team can beat anybody but can also lose to anybody. That’s a big part of the frustration with them and this season.

Being a 8/9 seed may not be too bad if we are in UCLA/Kansas bracket. We can play with those teams.
I’m thinking we’ll be the 8/9 in Birmingham with potential for Houston in the second round.

Kind of a wild guess, but also we know we can’t play Bama the second round. Maybe they will shy away from a KU or UCLA rematch to protect the 1st seed.

I also think they will avoid letting us play Purdue in Columbus (if Purdue holds on the 1 line).

So I’m thinking Birmingham with a Houston second round makes a lot of sense.

Probably vs. Providence for the Bryce Hopkins angle, or against Rutgers, since they are good enough to beat anybody (though down one key player now from injury).

Eh, I don’t believe they can “beat anybody”. A highly prolific and consistent team down the stretch? This team ain’t winnin that.

We matchup well with Tennessee and they’re offensively inept. Perfect opportunity for a team like this. People read way too much into it.

Although we need to win all of our head to heads against rivals and maintain dominance so I’m good with it, but big picture for a title hope? Nah.

This is correct. But I do think they have a lot of unrealized potential. Agree on them winning a title. Six in a row against decent to good teams feels like a stretch after some of the ugly games we’ve had this year.

Only the blind, blue-tinted fans would have predicted anything positive for this team a few weeks ago.

Even now, there are still major questions. If they win 3 out of the last 4 that will be a surprise. Because they haven’t shown the ability to be consistent. 2-2 seems most likely.

Feels like the most realistic scenario is around a 10 seed because of the recent quad one wins attained. Exciting to think we should be in the tourney now, but sad that the ceiling is low.

Nobody is that great this year, so from that standpoint we can beat anyone on a given night. Flip side is that anyone can beat us.

With our poor seeding and inconsistency a deep tourney run with this team would be fairly miraculous.
