John Calipari is fully exposed because every coach he faces will best him with in-game coaching, game preparation, and game management. Most all of the teams we play today also CONSISTENTLY have better talent year over year. That wasn't the case in years past as Cal was able to recruit over his contemporaries and win consistently but his coaching has always been suspect. What we are seeing now is sub-par talent and a criminal-like OAD stewardship of one of college basketball's premier programs. The only ones drawing attention to this malfeasance and demanding something be done is BBN. The AD, at some point, will have to do something and the contract be damned. A case can be made to fire his *** for cause and Calipari has admitted as much, over the years, that his priorities are NOT in keeping with the well-being of the University, who pays him for excellence. As a fanbase ... the longer we put up with his ***, the more it becomes our fault. Barnhart has no innocence in any of this either and should be replaced. While Stoops QUITELY builds a solid foundation for the football program that BBN now looks forward to each season ... Calipari tosses grenades toward Commonwealth Stadium, publicly proclaiming that Kentucky is a Basketball School, while the Basketball Program is an embarrassment under his watch. Oh, the irony is THICK. John Calipari is like that Emperor ... he has no clothes and "has been exposed". Hey Mitch ... BBN says hello.

And we can’t get Elite players at every position. Cal doesn’t like a lot of shooters on his team, he wants drivers and 2 bigs on the floor. Next year we still don’t have shooters coming in, Shepherd is the only true outside threat, others are drivers.

You hit the nail on the head about superior talent, Cal's coaching ability is mid level at best, his offense sucks, his defense sucks, I have never seen a coach who was considered elite that pay so little attention to details and fundamentals.

I’m not even sure he could win another title with elite talent at each position. It’s like he has completely lost the ability to coach and make reasonable decisions.

It’s honestly baffling how bad he has been the last 4-5 years. The rosters aren’t as bad as the results.

You're just repeating all the same things many have been saying for years and years.

Wrong ... they are all repeating what I have been saying long before anyone cared to look. I've said for many years now that OAD and everything that Calipari has done would destroy this program, in time, and could not be sustained. That's proven to be true. When UK won the Title on 2012, I said then that it was like catching lightning in a bottle ... rare, again that's proven to be true. I've been a member since 2002 officially but I go back to the Microtec board before that ... I just have never posted much at all before Calipari, but always read. Cal's early years were fun, no doubt, buy his methods were just so radical, they had to fail in time. Many are just now realizing that Calipari must go and I welcome the sentiment because the only thing I really care about is this Program going forward. Whatever I post on this board are my own and do not and have never parroted someone else's original thinking and claimed to be own.

Cal's forte has always been toughness. Before UK his teams were always rugged and just went after you. He had great success here recruiting well and that making young talent tougher. All of that has changed the last 5-6 years. Talent has been just good, not great, and the toughness is rock bottom.

If I were to argue with Calipari about his focus on getting his players a large paycheck is that his coaching doesn't produce a single extra player breaking out of generational poverty. If one of his players doesn't get drafted, another would. To focus on getting players to professional status should be secondary. IF one of your players has the potential play professionally, then direct his development to promote that, but to try to build a program around that premise is to starve the foundation of the program.

Tell it like it is. The only problem is that Barney is a party to the crime.....so he can't do anything to remedy the problem.
